Spiffed Scooter, picked up the spare for the Countryman tour, did a full rotate and match on Scooter, the Motivos are wearing well. Now for some good fun on Saturday. Don
I finally completed the task of installing my JCW Challenge Wing. Pretty routine and a fun project. Anyone else needing help can feel free to contact me.
Received these "maintenance items" for a relaxing Saturday with the R53. Yep, that's what they are, "maintenance items". Cars need to be maintained in order to run properly. Konis / JCW springs / camberplates / rear rotors / hatch struts / ebrake cables / RE-11A's / lower engine mount / Aquapel (great stuff!)...
IE, I believe... sourced 'em used, they seem pretty doggone stout. Can't WAIT to get this all together!
drove to Midlands Mini Club meet at Cracker Barrel. Afterwards drove to the range and played nine holes with the family. Then drove to work!
Jim.... The aluminum panel is attached with aluminum pop rivets through the plastic member.... On the back side they used some backing material (white spots)....
Nice way to diffuse the situation there MetalMan!!! Well, Thanks to some good MoMers here, I was able to borrow a Power bleeder, jump in front of another member, and install my SS brake lines from DetroitTuned. I had not used a power bleeder before but man is it a slick way to bleed the brakes. I think this may be the first time the brake fluid has been changed, so at 99,000 miles this is what I was able to bleed out. Something tells me that your brake fluid isn't supposed to remind you of an inverted Black and Tan??? (Wait, where is my beer?)
Looking good MM. Very nice work, as always and you fitted it in after the spacer for the boss man. Jim
Took it over to CHKMINI's house, picked up my red mirror caps and he even installed them for me. Now that's service! Thanks again Mark, they look great! Oh, and they are Allison approved...
