Base mini hardtop, manual with sunroof. That's it. Quite the spontaneous purchase. We left the house to buy a Ford Focus Titanium. Decided to just stop and look at a clubman on the way to Ford. Drove home with a receipt for a hardtop...that was a strange day. ;). Never saw it coming.

I really like the "base" MINI with a stick. Much more like a real Mini than some of the other models. I've had my eyes on an Ice Blue one (auto) for the missus.

...but ya should'a got a Clubman (obligatory Clubman push). ;-)

I told her she could get what ever she wanted. I love being married to a practical gal. I would have come home with a GP had I been alone...

Did a VIN check on my Mini and found that it has the same birth month and day as my son. So cool!!!

Today I took my wife to the airport for a work trip. The return run home was a high speed blast on I-95. Whoo hoo!

Took off the Dragon, I hope you can see the picture. Clean looking 20% tint for my tired blind eyes.

Started this Monday and finished it up yesterday. Plasti Dip'd the belt line black, replaced scuttles with R50 scuttles, tinted side markers.
I have another project with the scoop I need to finish tonight.

Picking up swaybar end links for the rear. That 1" hollow chews 'em up, apparently.

Now that I'm up and about I've got lots'a s#~+ planned. A run to the Coast next weekend warrants a little attention first. Then I guess I'll go out and get reacquainted with it again.

Brake wear light came on this afternoon. 3 months ago, the MINI service guy told me I had about 3 months of brakes left on the front. That's a pretty good estimate. D'you think he might have put a timer on my car or something?
