Another wash and machine-applied P21S 100% Carnauba wax after coming back from driving in hills on gravel dusty roads. Such a great wax. Looks as good as the paint job on the Rolls Royce Mini treatment at the dealer. Of course no wax will look good without proper base preparation.
Central Ohio cold and snow moved up the change-by date for putting on winter shoes. New Konig Feathers with snow tires give me a welcome character change for my Mini. :biggrin5:
I'm gonna drive it over to a retirement luncheon for my all-time favorite boss, then enjoy the 80+ degree day with a little windows down/roof open spin through the foothills. No need for the weekend to take a cruise...
Today on the way to work it was a little below 40 degrees and the car love the cold weather. So I am having doing my typical time trial run to work on the same route I take everyday. I come to the off camber up hill right hander and I did a very cool but totally not intended wicked cool power slide / drift. I think it is time to take my Summer Dunlop Star Specs off and put the Winter tires on this weekend so I can have some traction in the cold mornings.
Got a pile of new parts and Motor-Tober Swag. Got one of these too. Winter is on the way, got to keep this head warm ya know.
Checked tyre pressures and added 3 psi to all 4 corners of 2 vehicles (Bertie included.) It's getting cooler here, and it's Amonton's Law - not Suggestion. Now, Herself and her sister have it out shopping. There goes some $.
Drove the Pig Trail this morning with a bunch of MITO folks, good run, cool out! Dry roads and fall colors. More on Saturday...
Saw this on the way home. Can't see the four centered pipes under the rear bumper though - sounded great.
Turned over 120,000 miles this afternoon on Blue Creek Rd. Did the first exploritory drive of the 2014 Eric's Riverrun route.
