    Dear Diary,

Minion got a bath, window tint and 8 door dings pulled out. Then we went to the MINI Homecoming event at MINI of Nashville. Test drove the MINI Coupe S (manual) and met some new friends who also happen to drive MINI Coopers. My only regret is that I didn't drive the JCW Coupe. Everyone who got out of that car had ear to ear grins.

    Today was the bestest day!

Like Nathan, I drove her to the donut shop. :biggrin5:Then, stopped at a few spots on the way home to see if I could get a dent pulled out.....

Lastly, I scrubbed and waxed a set of wheels that I am not using at the moment.

Good times....... but not as much fun as driving a JCW coupe I would guess.

We are going to a British car show on Sunday, both are cars are in, and my wife is setting up a display for ACT. ACT is short for "Animal Compassion Team, she does rescues. Mainly small puppies, as she showed small dogs for years and now wants to "give back" to the community :biggrin5: Hope they don't frown on her setup there? She didn't let them know when we signed up.......should be ok......I would think?

Motored over to the local park where we hosted our club picnic. Dealer brought a Coupe, so got to see one in person for the first time. I like it way more then I thought I would, and the Roadster is going to look even better IMO.

Took RDNZL for the first state inspection since new, passed with flying colors :)

Also the sticker they put on the windscreen has a car on it which looks like a MINI convertable!

My MINI got a much needed wash after the KK rally. Then followed up with a Full Monte exterior cleaning on Sunday, including claybar, orbiter polishing, and paint sealant.

Great job KittyMINI with coordinating the day's events :cornut:

Hey Jim, well new cars get 4 years but then two years ago they gave all new cars a buy for another year with a extension sticker. Pretty cool I thought.

After that it's every two years.

No inspections here in the state of Washington either and there are only a few counties in which you have to pass an emission test. I renew my license tags online!

Washed off 160miles of Colorado bugs off Scooter after my trip up to WP on Saturday.

Nice bunch of fine mountain roads, the Western Dragon C103 was full of leaf peepers, kinda kept the pace low. :(

I'm running a little behind, but on Saturday I installed the DDM Intake and engine torque arm inserts on my wife's Clubman. Her Clubby sounds sooooo much better now...which means her mpg will be going down.

I love my DDM intake. Did you get the RIS one?

It's pouring here and the streets are flooding, so today I left Artemis nice and clean and dry in the garage and took the truck to work :cornut:
