Today, I sent out a note to the Vancouver MINI Cooper Club, and Size MINI Club of Vancouver to join me in bringing a toy to donate, motor to Vancouver's Pan Pacific Hotel and have breakfast together.

Drove to work and came home to see this on my front porch. I may or may not know what I got for Christmas. Subtle don't you think?

I drove it to the store today. When I got back to the car I saw a big white scratch on the door. I thought Aw crap. Then I opened the door and I saw it it was a spiderweb!

Had a bit of fun in the snow today. :devil:

 

So did I today with my wife's SUV. My MINI was just so clean I could not take it out in the snow today her SUV was already dirty. :lol:

 

Turned them both on, warmed them up, then turned them off :lol:

With the temps in the 20's, the Lincoln gets the nod

 

Took a drive up to the Record Store to flip through the $2 bins to see what might tickle my fancy. Ended up blowing the record budget for the month in one fell swoop with an out of print, sealed copy of an Import version on 180 gram vinyl of The Allman Brothers Band Eat a Peach.

 

Drove Skooby to the car warsh & then the grocery. Impressed my neighbors with a couple of hand brake turns. :ihih:

 

The Helmet rested in the garage for another day. His tars don't like this cold weather.

 

Got up at 5:00am, threw in some new unwrapped toys into beken's boot.


and drove to downtown Vancouver for this year's Christmas Wish toy drive. Donated the toys. Been doing this every year for the last 10 years. This year, no other MINI drivers joined me. :nonod:



But the Ghostbusters were there.

 

Drove into work in time to catch this...

 

Red sky in the morning....sailors take warning! You had better take off sick and get that MINI back in the garage

 

Think I might go wash all the ice and salt off the MINI today so I have a fresh base to gather more during the next winter storm that is supposed to hit us tonight.

 

I may turn my car around in the garage today.

 

Headed out to the Goodwill store to make a drop off. The Blu one had a nice drive to get everything warmed up & is now back in the warm garage. No car warsh it is still clean.

 

I would love to... couple of problems though:

1) I have no garage.
2) Meeting at work with our CG (a 2-star) this afternoon, that my management feels requires my presence. (Which it doesn't.... and will most certainly keep me from starting my weekend on time today )
