Filled it up with ethanol free 93 v-power. Put about 100 miles on it for work. It's sunny and 59º, a great day to be out driving twistie back roads. Tonight I'm changing the transmission oil.
Last two days near 70, today in the upper 40s, snow on Friday/Saturday. It has been nice taking Scooter out for a bit each day, back to hibernation for a bit. Have a great weekend folks. Don
Went to start the MINI...nope, nada, nothing. has been a little hard to start when real cold lately but figured I had a bit of reprieve with the warmer weather. Nope. Got a jump from a local metal shop dude. Went over to Best Motor Words where Anson swiftly replaced the battery with one that has some juice. As usual from John and Anson over at Best Motor Works it was quick and efficient.
Original Battery? Took mine to the post office. I drive to one a couple counties away so I could give the Blu one some exercise.
As you know unless it is a deep cycle battery making them go flat shortens their life. Hope the warranty was still in effect.

4 inches of icey and slushy snow in the Vancouver BC area this morning. I went and ran circles around a stuck long bed pickup truck at my office parking lot this morning. I also watched a police car come in and do a few donuts in the parking lot....just for fun. :frown2: ... okay...he did that and also checked on the guy in the pickup truck. Snow tires, folks.
Vinyl wrap to roof I had the pleasure today to meet and watch Don Nguyen transform my 2012 MCS. She started as a Chili Red lady with a white roof. Now, has a shiny glossy black roof to match the pillars. Great guy, recommend his work! Here are a few pics… as you can see I have tinted the windows recently as well. [email protected]
He did really do a great job, I really like the matching roof to the pillars. I should be painting the spoiler, mirror caps and brake ducts this week. about Amsoil! Thank you.
