Precautionary timing chain replacement, who knew? Figured it would have to be bad for a replacement. :idea:Can you get any other parts replaced as a precaution?

Glad you have the safety net of the warranty.

    Went off roadin!

Not really, there was no on street parking by the barber shop so had to use the dirt lot next to them that seems to be remnants of a bulldozed building.

I buffed off the Carnauba wax I put on yesterday and put on a nice coat of PRO hard wax with No. 1 grade Brazilian carnauba, dark beeswax, and montan wax that I am testing and WOW does it look good after only (1) coat. :drool

The instructions say apply (2) coats but only after the first coat cures for 12-24 hours so I guess I will be doing the same thing tomorrow before work.

After the (2) coats of Pro hard wax are done I will apply (2) coats of PRO soft wax with beeswax and montan wax then (1) coat of No. 1 grade carnauba wax imported from Brazil.

Yeah I am the "D" in OCD and I am sorry to say I have found my replacements for all Prima Wax products I have been using for years.

Put some red and black CoCo Mats in the front and boot today. So....as I sit in the front seat I see my door handle and glove box accents, the mats, the craven speed scissor cradle, the radar detector......I'm hoping its not starting to look like a Pakistani flea market.

Drove it home from a New Years party and dodged a whole bunch of stupid.

Wow, I expected some weirdness on the roads last night but this beat all my expectations by a long shot.

Drivers were stopping at a flashing yellow.

Drivers were cutting across lanes in front of me and then stopping to pick someone up.

Pedestrians (College Students) were running across a major thoroughfare not at corners but in the middle of a block.

So glad when I made it home safely.
