Just keeping it running right. There are some little issues that are not fatal but annoying that need to be addressed.
Put in new hatch struts so the hatch would not hit me in the head anymore, and ordered a new key to have a spare. Also put 150 more miles on it! All I want to do is drive it more and more!
After a 3 state romp with the GP yesterday (NE, IA, MO) I cleaned the GP up in the garage due to freezing temps, put the cover over it, and grinned remembering the day before...
adjusted the rear camber some more, put on new wheels, added adjustable lower rear control arms, header, and im sure a few more things
Not a thing. Though the high was 70, and I shoulda taken one of em out, I chose to work on the Bonanza instead.
I removed the plastic rings on the posts of the rear seat headrests that prevented them from going all the way down as they were designed to do. Now there's no more rear vision obstruction and it looks 'factory finished' as it should.
Drove to work slowly in the snow. Little snow on the road and people forget how to drive. Its Ohio people! We get this crap every damn year!!!!!
Drove the Helmet to the Columbus Airport very early this morning. Light snow covered roads and summer performance tires.....a scary combination!
Snow tires, Snow tires, Snow tires...... Glad you made it there safely. Did I mention you should get snow tires?
Makes perfect sense to me. I feel so stupid for buying snow tires when I could have spent many 10's of thousands on a big honkin pickumup. :mad2: Now should I have chrome balls or black ones hanging off that oversized trailer hitch?
Rogue and I stopped in at a neighborhood graphics place..... Paw prints on the bonnet will make my two dogs at home so proud of me!!!!
Installed the visishield lens on tach and speedo and redid the rear calipers. Not bad for a 9 year old MINI....
Did you get the FES Invisi-Lens ? Like the ones below? I got them 2 years ago and they are awesome. http://www.fes-auto.com/upload/doc/55/InvisiLens_2ndGen_Installation_Guide.pdf
