Plugged in the battery tender "again". :frown5: Maybe Saturday or Sunday will go out for a run in the small hills. Don
Peeked out the window every now and then to see the way the snow was melting off once the sun was on it.
I attended the celebration of life for a fellow MINIac. He went by the name DieselHead because his profession was a bus driver. Dan passed away of complications caused by the chemotherapy he had undergone. Everybody thought the chemo had done the job and shrunk his tumor down. Dan was out of the hospital and out motoring again. Glad he didn't die while driving. In anycase, Dan was far more a MINI nutcase than most of us. Turns out he was totally obsessed with MINIs. His family greatly appreciated that a fellow MINI motorer showed up. He has passed Basil on to his daughter who I hope will join up M/A in the near future.
Having fun in the snow driving around downtown. Love my snow tires! It's so fun powering past all of these big luxury cars, trucks and SUVs.
Went down to the shop.... Worked on some pricing jobs.... Went back to the MINI cave and looked in on my MINI.... Connected the Ctek smart charger that has the de-sulfate cycle... Pretty cool little battery maintainer.... All is well now...
I guess I should not talk about 60 degrees, blue-sunny skies here in Colorado today! :arf: Now I have to go unhook the battery tender, until Monday when the snow comes back. Don
Went out to the garage and let it run for approx. half hour. Its up to 26 to- day, the first time in about a week. Haven't had it out on the road for two weeks now due to a trillion tons on salt on the local roads. Today I'm just waiting for the 24 to start in 1.5 hours.
Picked up a new key from the dealer, since it only came with 1 key when I got it. Drove around for a bit and now its parked getting snowed on.
Got in the Mini to go work out. Temp gage said 14 deg out side. Decided to go drive the twestys for a hour instead. Second time I did this in the last couple months.
