Free installation. No donuts required, but I'm sure they appreciate some. :donut1:

Day-ummmmmmmm...this could be a bad day. My garaged car, with its ancient battery, started up ok but a new battery is planned.

So I went outside to start up my wife's S and , while the battery was cold [verrrry cold], the car seemed to start ok. So, I turned on the heat and defrosters and started brushing off the car. Got inside to warm up a bit and noticed the thermometer was about to head to the moon...fricken car is frozen solid! Grrrrrrrrrrrr...I guess it might thaw out around the time that fricken rodent sees his shadow...:mad2:

Back to my S...took the wife out and on returning, I thought the car would literally fall apart. EVERYTHING is clunking...almost afraid to make the trip over to MAG and the guy I use here in town is on vacation....:mad5:

The sun is shining brightly, but OMFG...what a baaaad day!:frown2:

I think it's time to put a new battery in the car and then call MAG and get the car rattles all fixed. Told the wife I'll just have to take her wherever she needs to go til her car thaws out. Unfortunately, the Cooper is in the garage, but in front of her car, so, it's not going anywhere for awhile, either, or she could drive it.

As it's finally raining here today, after 54 days of dry weather, our Minis will remain tucked inside the garage.

I did nothing with my Mini or MINI yesterday, once again. But, I did drive this beauty! I'm hoping to inherit it from my Daughter when her lease is up...

Put a new battery in my MCSa, replacing the original 8 yr. old one.

Today, I get to try to de-ice my wife's S, since the temps are to "soar" to 45F. if that doesn't work, I guess the car will get flatbedded to the MINI hospital...:(

Woohooo..it works! Now to drive it around a bit and let the Zerex work its way in....[fingers crossed]

Went for a drive and stopped by to see the folks at MAG and buy an oil filter for Blake's R53.

Took the MINI out for a morning run and got a nice coving of salt dust. Now I have a reason to wash and wax my car tomorrow waiting for the Super Bowl.

Washed it to get the ridiculous amount of road salt off, only to get more snow on Monday.
I also received the aux input and stubby antenna from outmotoring, those will be getting installed tomorrow before game time!

Finally got around to replacing the alternator along with a new Gates 53.5" belt. The Mini sat in the driveway for 2 weeks, unfortunately.
