Drove mine for the first time in almost two weeks (Out of town on business). Such a good car. Just a simple drive to work and yet it still leaves me smiling like a fool.
I unpacked my new TSW R53 '06 motor mount from Way Motorworks. I can finally remove the OEM damper (the THIRD one of these to die and leak oil all over my engine bay) and put in a permanent replacement! YEA! Now if only someone would make a clutch slave replacement, I'd be rid of the most seriously flawed OEM bits! (I'm on clutch slave #4 at least... I've lost track!) Also in the box were a couple of bottles of Motul 600 RBF for a track weekend in December and a shiny new brass coolant bleeder screw *BLING*.
Drove the route for the MoM Leaf Hopper run tomorrow to make sure all the roads were open and ready for some MINI fun. Beautiful fall colors and plenty of twisty roads. All those participating will get their routes in the morning at breakfast.
Drove mine to lunch then to the car warsh. Have to have a clean MINI so I can get it dirty tomorrow chasing Erika. Mark thanks for your efforts!
Joined in with the MetroplexMINI Photo Rally and won a cool MINI bag! Had a great time with everyone and cars from a classic to a Spice Orange Coupe!
Well yesterday not today :blush2: Drove to the airshow at NAS Lemoore, got stuck in a over 1 hour traffic jam :incazzato: Let me tell you this is no fun with a stage 4 clutch :cryin: Car was so hot when we parked, I popped the hood and the glue holding the wires into the headlights was melting  I couldn't imagine how hot a R56 would have been? Anywho....was all worth it once the Blue Angles hit the stage :cornut:
You mean down here, dont ya? We're looking to relocate down here, so we've been scouting areas where we'd like to live. Here till Thursday then driving over to the dragon for MSSD.
Sorry Mr. Jim... Read that wrong Today I drove up to the Pottstown Petsmart to present my club's check to the Cat Angel Network. Then I washed my winter wheels and tires and had the hubby put them on for me. Bye-bye stealth wheels rrr:
On Friday I drove from Hampton Roads, VA to Columbus, OH to join the MoMs for the Fall Leafhopper Run on Saturday. After enjoying delicious BBQ at Millstone, Vicki & I headed south to Tazewell, VA so that we could enjoy Virginia's Back of The Dragon on Sunday morning. It was breathtaking! I have video that I will try to upload & share. After the BOTD run, we headed back to Hampton Roads via 460 and made a stop in Farmville, VA. I am addicted to Farmville (currently @ Level 376), so the plan was to park in front of the main post office & get a pic for my Facebook page and Farmville friends. Well, the street in front of the post office doesn't have room for parking, so that was a no-go. My other daughter, Sarah, collects cows, so Vicki & I tried to find a store to buy a stuffed cow AND give Sarah the receipt just to see if she'd notice the city/state...again, unable to find a store with any cow stuff. Sheesh! Continued on our way and stopped at the Virginia Diner before heading on home. (Found a stuffed cow here, finally!) Great day all the way around!
Wow.... Stuffed Cow huh? We mostly only stuff turkeys here in Ohio.... Erika, glad you and Vicki made it home OK.....
