I washed, clayed, and washed my MINI today and put her back in the garage. Maybe tomorrow I will polish it and if I have time maybe seal it.
Swapped the spark plugs for some colder range NGK Iridium's. I am glad I did as the ones I pulled out certainly had some miles on them.
Got my new tires installed and the car aligned. The new Dunlop Direzza Z2's. They definitely look alittle narrower than the old Star Specs....maybe I could have gone with some 225's.... This guys alignment rack is awesome! It's a "Hunter", laser beams a stuff coming out of it  Adjusted camber, toe,......ect. :cornut:
Curious to hear your impressions. I ordered my Rennline pedals for GIR. Spent the rest of the night looking at interior bits. Has anyone installed any vinyl from Redline Goods? I am looking at the dash covers they have and am curious as to what is used to apply it to the dash itself. :confused5:
Curious to hear your impressions. It feels like I'm able to shift a little quicker while trying to keep both hands on the wheel. Instead of reaching down shift, it's more like reaching across. It's definately not like any other shift knob I've ever used.
Just slowly polishing and adding sealant between e-mails for work. Maybe finish up tomorrow so I can start waxing.
FINELY decided the garage was warm enough to toss my new intercooler boots on...(been sitting in their bags by the toolbox for MONTHS.... Old ones were stiff...and appeared to shrunk a bit...had not changed them cause they were not leaking YET and were not torn YET...but rubber in an engine bay...was only a matter of time... One thing to note.... My intercooler was basicly dry and clean...no gunk or moisture....was surprised at how clean it was since I don't run a catch can....guess it means my motor is still in good shape!!
Today we went to the shop to try to figure out why certain lights are on.... after an hour and checking everything we are going to buy all new sensors and see were that gets us....
Got updates on mine about it's visit to the spa. I get Gnat back tomorrow. It's supposed sunny and in the 60's too. Sounds like an excuse to head out for a nice drive too.
Drove it to the doctor to have muscles in my leg and back worked on. Gonna have'ta park it till my clutch strength returns... Doctor's orders. :frown5:
That sucks!!! I went through that with my Jeep a few years back... ended up having to sell her. Good news though I found out I LOVE Mini's!!! Get well!!!
Applied 2nd coat of sealant, followed by 3 coats of wax over 8 hours. It was a good day after 12:57 PM today when Winter ended and Spring started.
