I saved $75.00 the Craven oil dip stick would have cost. I took my Drimel and ground down the torpedo tip on the end of the dip stick. I've read it is that tip that is larger in diameter that pulls oil up into the tube making it difficult to get a fixed oil level on the stick. I turned the diameter down to the same size as the main part of the dip stick, shortened it up a bit and gave it a try. Problem solved.

Sounds nice. But that OEM stick is still made of a very breakable fiberglass...

I guess I'm lucky that there's no fiberglass on my OEM stick.

Finished fixing the dings and clear coating my wheels. Not the greatest job (I'm not a pro) but okay.

Helped Seth put on his sway bar.

Dropped off my Summer wheels for a new set of Dunlop ZII's.

FYI TireRack has them on close out since a new Dunlop "StarSpec" will be coming out in Nov 14. So if you want a set you better buy them soon and this month you get a $50.00 rebate.

I want new summer tires, I don't need summer new tires. My summer tires and it appears my winter tires will both last another season.

We have had 68.7 inches of snow this year another little dusting of 1-3 will be nothing. It's too warm now for anything to really stick or freeze to the roads.

We only need like a 1/2 inch here to move this season into second snowiest.

    And, on topic.

Drove it like I stole it again today.

We need 12 inches to set the all time record but we won't get that.

I took my car out today and burned a few gallons of 93 and some Meth.

That will never happen. It adds character. I'm thinking of mounting retractable tommy guns in the fenders.

As a retired former employee of Goodyear Tire & Rubber, I have some rebate coupons for Goodyear/Dunlop tires. Only requirement is they have to be purchased from an authorized Goodyear dealer.

I have four extra coupons that are good for one tire each. $20 rebate per tire for performance or all weather performance tires. Requires one coupon per tire.
I will send coupons to first member that PM's me until the four coupons are claimed.
