How many turkey's does it take to stuff a cow? Glad you had a good time with us & a safe fun drive home.
I changed the passenger side axle today. One of my brake ducts popped a wire out and shredded the outer boot. Dan at Grassroots Garage had just repacked the axle with grease, too, after 105k miles, not three weeks before the boot tore. Four track days and 20 hours of highway driving later, I finally replaced it. MINIs are tough. The duct tape and zip tie field repair held up well:
If we had arrived a mere 10 minutes sooner, we could've purchased a stuffed toy cow that would've taken up the entire back seat! (I'm so glad we weren't there 10 minutes sooner, LOL.)
You're correct Jim...we used paper maps and written directions to find our way around.....it's like driving in a time machine.
I just topped off with Shell 93 myself today..... but I just came back to work Have a safe trip and I'll see you down there in May
This must have been "fill your tank with Shell 93" day. I did the same thing. Sadly, Monica, MM doesn't do MOTD. :cryin: Nathan, I saw the wet leaves this morning in time to slow down. Jim
It's funny, I go out of my way to go to the nearest Shell by me. I have to now- the tune I got is for 93 :ihih: He doesn't? Bummer :frown2: I put my "go slow" winter set up on Monday this week.
I do the same thing, but I have learned at not all Shell 93 has been created equally for some reason. The further away from a "big city" you get, the more pep it seems to have. ut: Jim
More miles Trying to catch up to Crashton. Took the MINI to the HofBrauhaus in Newport KY, link, and in the process I passed 95,000 miles of fun. :biggrin5: Well I didn't do all the miles, just the last year of miles. But I will take credit..
