Washed and waxed her! Also polished up the R95's ;) Best investment I've made on the car yet!

Just installed a Sprint Booster yesterday, I know it doesn't add any hp but

it really gets rid of the sluggish throttle response. I give it a 10 so far.

Couple of things........I hope you didn't get just regular PS fluid because our MINI's take some special Pentosin fluid.

And please don't use the Armor-All anymore. It will really shorten the life of any part it touches.

My buddy and I did a little maintenance on the Phenix today. Started by changing plugs, wires and cap, converted to a Pertronix electronic ignition, then adjusted carb and clutch.

    Welcome changes to be sure.

Drove home from work as usual. Bobbing and weaving through traffic. I am starting to lose hope in finding a MINI owner who is as enthusiastic as me. Every MINI owner I see I either wave at them as they pass or chase them down and give them a thumbs up. Lately all the owners I've seen are older women who seem to be driving their cooper only because it's CUTE. I was even flipped off by a clubman (older woman) owner who must of thought I was some jacka$$ waving at her. Have yet to see a customized MINI between Portland and Salem Oregon. Maybe i'm the only one hah:cool:

I have to run to the dealer today to pick up a trim molding for my door. While I was washing my car this weekend I noticed my drivers side one has a split in it and the rubber has separated from the rest of the molding. I guess I will be blacking out a new molding tonight.:biggrin5:

Dropped it off at the shop for a fuel filter replacement and tire swap from winter to summer rubber. Then it goes to the detailer. I should see the car again on Wednesday.

I dropped it off at Cosner Brothers to let them replace the AC compressor (at their expense!) and to hopefully figure out what The Dreaded Noise is.

I love when that happens especially at the dealership. I say nope this one is 9 years old and looks better then those new ones over there.

    Most times people agree. :ihih:

We are questioning the swap out before the Dragon...Blizzacks vs. slicks? We've heard that we will ruin our winter set but, the Blizzacks do such a great job with the rain, which it looks like we'll be chasing from Colorado to N.C next week.....

I would not run Blizzacks on the Dragon. You want good summer tires with grip.

Winter might not be the best for the Dragon.

The dealer near me charges $400+ to replace just the fuel filter – what a rip off.
