Hmmm...now, THAT means you are assuming that she knows how to pump her own gas AND check the dipstick! Uh-Uh, nope, nyet, non, nein...etc. This is why I'm NOT telling her what might be under that bonnet...hell, with MY luck, she would add gas to the oil and oil to the gas! :eek6: :frown2: :nonod: She's a wonderful person, though...great cook and homemaker, thrifty...just enjoys driving her MINI and has NO CLUE about upkeep or maintenance issues. However, she IS a bit curious...hehehehe....
Buy her a nice 2 stroke SAAB 96. No dipstick & oil in the gas is as it should be. Your friends are looking out for you Jeff.
I did start my car and let it warm up for a 1/2 hour and turned it around and parked it back in the garage.
Get out & drive that bad boy! :arf: That being said I left mine in the garage all nice & clean while I ran errands in Babs MINI. It is OK her's was dirty.
It's raining here all week until Saturday. Maybe I will go out and try to avoid getting tickets on the holiday weekend.
Went shopping to all the automotive stores in the area (Lordco, NAPA, Canadian Tire etc) looking for a claybar. Time to do a full detail. I would order direct from Griots or somebody if shipping from the US wasn't so expensive. :incazzato:
I dropped mine off at the shop for a new clutch and RMW street cam. Can't wait to get her back tomorrow!
I took a friend to lunch. On our way back to work, a Pepper White Mini with black bonnet stripes pulled out in front of me, and I found myself wishing for a blue Mini to join us, so we could have our own little Italian Job for a little bit.
Aside from my daily drive, I enjoyed the sunroof all the way home and used Dave.O's steel wool trick to clean my windshield. Suddenly Automatic is once again reporting sensible gas mileage of around 36 MPG, vs. last week when it was telling me I was getting a science-fictional 56 MPG.
