My Son disposed of my brand new '89 Taurus SHO when he was 16. :mad5: Found my spare key while I was at work. Totaled with 3K on the odometer. :cryin: Really liked that car, and I'm a Chevy guy!
Thats the rock that bashed in my rocker panel. Slid right into it, then drove the rear tire over it. Damn mud.
I changed my oil, replaced my turbo oil feed lines with the Detroit Tuned steel braided one, and since it was off, replaced my downpipe with the amazing Akrapovic piece. It was all a first for me but I took advantage of lift access and sacrificed time and knuckle skin to save $600 that the local dealer was going to charge me for just the oil feed line install. And as I'm sure you DIYers already know, ef these heat shields!!! Man those things are the hardest part of the entire job.
Still looking for the Rattle, Clunk, jingle or what ever that noise is that's coming from under the front end.:mad2::fingerscrossed:
Did some more sanding and put on a layer of guide coat today for final sanding before color goes on this week.
Dick's Garage helped me install new H Sport Comp 24mm rear sway bar. Just when I thought I could not love my mini more. Thanks Rick.
