I did sit back (on an old tire ) and look at my MINI today... For quite some time actually. (After work of course)
I reset my gas mileage counter on the way to work this morning. It was in the high twenties, now it's staying in the high thirties-low forties. It seems the replacement injector did the trick.
Painted my roll bar and refit my interior. Modified new seat brackets to shift seats a bit inboard. Properly installed my Deka 15lb battery.
Finally got my prosport gauge's amber illumination wired up to come on when the headlights turn on. Should be much nicer than the super bright white illumination at night now.
Drove to Colonial Williamsburg. Walked around for bit. Then had a fantastic lunch and discovered a new style of beer that will haunt me the rest of my life.
drove down to my local Lego store and asked about the new Mini Cooper lego model. Person ran to the back and asked the manager. The model comes out officially on Aug 1. But if you have a VIP card, you can get it on July 24.
Now that it's perfect have you ever considered clear bra? I'll never own another car without it at least on the bumper.
I have considered it, but I am not going to get one. I am just going to use Nu Finish the one a year car polish from Walmart. I don't drive that often now and I really like the high polished, deep glossy look that you can't do with a clear bra on. Also with the multiple layers of chili red and clear I put onI would have to get hit by a bolder to chip it now. It's not a paper thin factory finish now. I would like a clear bra / NASCAR style windshield pull offs after I replace my windshield from the rock chips. :ihih: I already know a company that makes them but $$$$$ :frown2:
Are those the Flatirons from Hwy128? We were up in that area if so on Saturday. Taking the puppy for a ride to get her car legs.... Don
