I appreciated her lovely lines, handling and comfort as I drove her to work, much nicer to drive than the LeMons car. But I wouldn't let her near that sort of racing, she'd get scratched
I got to drive Artemis to work today.... goodbye nasty loaner! Unfortunately, it's raining. So much for playing around a little rrr:
Find a remote parking lot without any lamp posts or parking bumps & make it your personal wetpad for practicing.
Went to the Sewell MINI of Plano Motor-tober Halloween party last night. Had a blast with other MetroplexMINI peeps!!! Sewell throws a dang good party!
dang it Darn Chuck, I either have to drive faster or farther so I can catch up! Your still 5k ahead of me :biggrin5: But seriously, Congrats. That is one well cared for MINI and has served you well.
While we have had a few fronts this season today was the first time I was awake early enough to see it on the MINI, evar!
Woo hoo! I finally got around to updating the MA library article on supercharger oil changes and I wrote a new one for the crank pulley damper replacement I had to do a few days ago. +1 for my motoring karma!
NOTHING........ Collectively the most snow that has been on RDNZL in the 4 years I've owned....... Looks like it time to get the BEAST running again :frown5:
waiting for 9 stupid little plastic inexpensive trim clips so I can put my hatch window back in before a Cat find a new place to play!! :cryin:
It is this terriable white cold substance that falls onto the ground in the northern parts of the USA and then turns into nasty black cold substance .....:mad2:
Today, I did a facepalm. While replacing my crank pulley late last week, I unplugged a vaccum line. When I was done with the work, I neglected to reconnect it. While driving to work on Friday, I got the "Check filler cap" light and a P0455 error thrown (Evap. Emission - Control System Leak Large). On my way home last Friday, I stopped and got a new filler cap, which didn't fix my problem. I was starting to get a bit nervous about the error code as Jango is due for his annual inspection soon and an error like that will auto-fail the test. I was reading a thread (searching on my P0455 code) on another MINI site this morning where someone mentioned that they forgot to reattach a vac line and got this code. I chuckled to myself and had a disparaging thought about the mechanical skills of the author... until I realized that I had done exactly the same thing! The good news is that once I reattached the vac line, all of my error lights and codes went away. The bad news is that I'm an idiot. At least I only spent $18 on a new filler cap and didn't take the car in for a professional diagnosis yet so that I could pay someone to laugh at me.
Not an idiot I would not beat yourself up.....some of us could admit to some pretty funny stories about forgetting steps or parts when working on our cars.
Rinsed the layer of dirt that the construction around the corner has deposited. Oh wait..the rain did that for me.
