Best wishes Mark on your wife's surgery.

It was a quiet day here, no quality MINI time, just packing to go to the farm in MO.

I did go plink about 200 rounds at some targets, that always brings down the stress level.

I love washing my car in the rain. You never have to worry about the soap drying and leaving spots. It's also a great time to clay right after you wash all the dirt off.:ihih:

Then I pull the car in the garage and blow dry it with the leaf blower and finish off the drying with soft MF towels.

All ready for a good polish and wax.

I thought it would be a good time to paint because I'm home alone. But then I thought about my wife on the road with my oldest daughter in a Sequoia with 240,000. If it goes down I don't want to use the spare car, it's a 1988 Acura, to rescue them.

The MINI is in the garage waiting a waxing.
The spare died on me I believe it's a fuel pump. Just my luck!:mad2:

    Not today but last night...

I got banned from my first MINI forum. :(
It was from MYNES so no great loss. :)

All because of a comment on a MINI group on FB! Somebody wants an honest opinion about Bytetronik, well I'm going to give it to them...
Its not like I am going to be the silent type when I'm over $3K in the hole, just because of their product and lack of support. I just keep it off the boards for the most part.

I did find out that Mynes is starting to see that Sprintex really is crap, right before the ban message came...

Looks like I will need to post that pic from the computer, so you can actually read it. Basically take the Sprintex owners thread on NAM, focus on my posts saying all the problems they have, then shorten it, and now thats the same thing they are saying.

Another drive into work this morning. Since school is out there are parking places on the street to be found. Couldn't pass this one up this morning:

And the other day I found a spot that was just perfect, but just for a MINI!

Installed the Amsoil/Mini-Mania low restriction air-filter element (lightly oiled). Only scraped one knuckle, and didn't lose any Torx bits.

Getting that damn JCW airbox off without removing the strut brace is a, um, *****.

Its technically the second time they have banned me... So do I get a T-shirt or something?

Yes Nate that was me, word traveled real fast through the interwebs when I gave reference to a few more people who they screwed over.
Did you get to see everything leading up to that post getting deleted? :p
