Today I had an appointment to get my windows tinted at Details in Motion here in town. The guy did a great job and convinced me to go in a direction I didn't plan, but that I'm happier about now that it's done.

And a good thing that I had the appointment because some time between 6-ish when my wife went out to hear some friends playing music and 7:45 when I got home, this happened in my driveway.

Looks like tomorrow I have to take off work to run to Lowes, get a new chain for the chainsaw, chop up that tree, haul it up to the house, then collapse into a pile of sweat.

Spent 10 hours at my independent Mini shop (Euro Motors) today. Super Technician Chris did the following:

    Replaced water pump (OEM)
    replaced thermostat (OEM)
replaced turbo oil feed & return lines (DT)
replaced seals in heat exchanger (DT)
    replaced accessory drive belt (OEM)
    replaced spark plugs (NGK)
    Changed oil and filter (Mobil1/OEM)

While waiting for the motor to cool down to perform the above work he installed my new Eibach 20mm rear sway bar and a new (to me) sport suspension. The shocks, struts, and springs came from a JCW with only 7K miles when they were yanked to install coil overs.
I definitely recommend these guys if you live in the area or just want to drive down for the day. They do quality work for a reasonable price.

A very productive day, except for getting caught in rush hour traffic and a torrential downpour on the way home. Finally got to use my rear fog lights though! :biggrin5:

Received my order from WMW, good folks, prompt shipping. Thursday Schomp MINI gets to change out front/rear brakes and change the Oil/Filter and the other misc. stuff for MTTS.

Switching to Amzoil since I bought a case last MITM. :)

Should be interesting, first time driving Scooter with the 5 month old puppy in the back on her tether. She does wonderful in the Countryman, should be a good test.

I asked for a CM or Clubman loaner, will have to see what they give us.

Ordered a new emblem Friday from eminiparts.com as a surprise for the wife's MINI, as the black center on the old one decided to go awol. The new one came in yesterday. I got home early from work so I decided to throw it on. She was so upset when she saw that the old one was messed up, but it's all good now. Thank you eminiparts!:D

After chopping up the tree yesterday I rehydrated, then in the evening I installed my new dash cam and went out for a combined test drive/Ingress game exploration of the area.

Really liking my new window tints!

Nothing to mine. Warshed the Babs clubster. I'm bushed but it is looking pretty sweet. Now to find out about Dave O's secret sauce trim treatment. The trim is pretty badly faded & rather shabby.

I havent seen my MINI all week... :( I am about to pop the garage open though, so I can pull the carpeting out of the Jeep... Had to pop the drain plugs last night after work. :(

If you own a Jeep, NEVER trust anything made by Smittybilt! (Almost typed their nickname but you all would have just seen stars and not a company name... It rhymes, you'll figure it out. ;) )

Threw it up on a lift to check the rear end for a rattle that's been driving me bat $#!+. I do believe the little tweak/bend made to one of the exhaust hangers did the trick.

One of the mufflers was a bouncing off the heat shield, but not anymore.
