Pulled mine out of the garage & left it in the rain. Hoping Mother Nature rinses all the dirt picked up in my drive on dirty roads away. :fingerscrossed: Cleaned my MINI Thursday & not even 24 hours until I goobered it up again. :nonod:

Did a run with Carlisle MINI today up to Centralia, Pa. That is the town that is now a ghost town due to the coal mine fire that has been burning under it since 1962. We only saw two homes that are still standing and lived in, the rest of the town is simply gone. The streets, curbs and side walks are there but nothing else.
Used Mothers plastic polish and renewed the head and tail lights of the MINI, a Jetta, a 525i and a Duramax. Piece-a-cake! Looked up the ghost town too. Unbelievable.
Drove away from Dallas with a few hundred friends. [ame=http://youtu.be/OjXoOFmM3OA]Leaving Dallas MTTS2014 - YouTube[/ame]
Well not today, but on Sunday I spent a quality hour or so cleaning up the Countryman, then we went for a 2 hr spin into the Mountains around the homestead. Up 72 (Coal Creek Canyon), Peak to Peak (to Nederland), stopped at the reservoir to let the pup play, then motored down Boulder Creek Canyon into town. It was a nice touristy drive, it looks like Peak to Peak needs a new surface before winter, hope they fix it up or winter runs will be a beotch. Don
Peak to peak is always FUBAR during the winters. I go up there when it snows just to yank people back onto the road, even if its technically "CLOSED" most of the time they let us through. The plows yank up the pavement quite a bit in spots, but they repave the entire road one pothole at a time in the spring.
Returned from a 1,000 mi. trip around the flatlands visiting some family. All the MINI wheel time kept me smiling throughout the ordeal. :biggrin5:
Played with the torque pro app for a few minutes this afternoon. Now I'm almost hoping the ses light will come on so I can try out the code scanner. I turned down one of my favorite roads on the way home from work. I was hoping for a nice high velocity run down a twisty back road. My plan was spoiled by a slow moving fiat 500l. That has to be the ugliest new car currently available in the US.
Took a spin in the Classic to see if that wheel balancing did the trick. I'd say so, all the way up to a sustained 80+. That'll work just fine!
