Early morning at the range. A little zen time with my wepon. I'm headed to Philly Dave's neck of the woods thought it would be wise to practice first!:biggrin5:

Almost had it towed. Was at a clients house and didn't realize in his part of the hood it is street cleaning day. Good thing we looked up and outside when we did. The MINI was about to go on the hook.

I did earn a $50 ticket for that bone head move. Yes, I did earn that one fair and square, it shall be paid.

Only my second one in the 3.25 years I've been here.

Didn't do a thing with either Mini the last few days. But, I did, however, pay to have the wife's 525 towed to get the water pump, thermostat and coolant tank replaced.

Nuth'n like a nice little trip to the coast to lighten the load in my back pocket.

Another hot day in Colorado, after mowing the lawns, we took the Countryman down for a late lunch at our local Chinese (Spice China - Louisville), a great dinner/lunch at lunch special prices.

Always amazes me how much food you get at this restaurant, Shanghai Chinese style with some Thai, Vietnamese and Americanized Chinese dishes. Yummmy. :)

Now back to a previous posting, a picture of the shop in Loveland, 2nd Amendment Gun Supply and Gunsmithing. Nice and good inventory/selection, strong on Sig, Glock, Springfield and Amrscor (Rock Island) for the semi-auto fans.

I have Ed (owner) smithing one of my 1911 Target 22LR, we shall see if he can get it running smoother. :)

    Enjoy,
    Don

My Mini is in the shop today getting all dolled up with new suspension parts. Got a call just now that they've started the alignment. I'm feeling anxious... :)

Koni Sport Shocks, Swift Spec-R springs (thank you again everyone who gave me sound advice), and my mechanic/dude/guy also suggested new lower control arm bushings while we were at it. :biggrin5:

Today I took my car out of the garage and washed it.
Then I put it back in the garage.

Maybe this weekend I will replace my failed tensioner and put on a new idler and new belt.

Pick up set of the Powerflex Polly ones. The rubber OEM ones will just fail again and again and again.

Chad at Detroit Tuned has them: http://www.detroittuned.com/powerflex-front-control-arm-bushings-gen-2/

Today was a very good day, I took the MINI over to the range and worked on my trigger control and spent some more time sighting in the Reflex red-dot. It went well.

After shooting, I took Scooter over to the wash and cleaned off the 100 miles of bugs from my visit to that nice shooters supply in Loveland. Then we stopped off at my favorite lunch place.

In the AM, I get to put more bugs on Scooter, since the shop is done smithing my 1911-22, we shall see if it is better.

Here is a picture of one of my favorite lunch places.

What kind of 1911-22 do you have? One of my favorite plinkers is my Colt 1911 with a Colt Ace Conversion Kit on it. Now, to keep from too much thread drift... I drove my Mini to my daughters range to shoot my little .22. :cornut:

My passenger side window stopped working last week so I finally found some time to look and see if I could fix it without ripping anything apart or costing me a lot of money.

    It is fixed :biggrin5:

Posted my findings here here so you guys don't have to look for it on "the other" site.

I pulled my car out of the garage and admired it in the sun.
