Went for a nice club drive yesterday on the parkway. Today it gets a much needed bath.

Applied another coat of Pinnacle PSS. What a nice slick silky feel when done! "The wet look." Did this after a 45 mile bicycle ride with Salem Bicycle Club in rain and partly against the wind.

Today I finally removed my air horns and replace them with a set of loud Hella horns.

I also replace an old 1 farad cap that failed.

Dave, have you not learned that caps always fail... I had one that "Capped" out mid way through its first Bass Race... Went to additional batteries after that, and never looked back!

Put the finishing touches on the Dark Helmet Brewery Tour route. Now I need to wash the filth of it.

Dick, I use the Cap to slowly bleed off power from the + point under the hood to to the rear battery. It keeps the electrical / voltage noise floor very low. I am not a SPL guy I like sound quality.

With my HD JL amps I do not need the extra voltage. :ihih:

Sub amp is a JL HD MONO 750w pure power which is perfect for a single 10 JL W6v2-D4.

Headed out this morning for a little tour of the foothills in The Phenix. Cut my trip short when I realized my gas gauge is more accurate than I gave it credit. Fortunately there's another 5 gallons of 110 in the garage...

Took a MINI road trip to a family cook out (held in... dang rain.) Too much food, but isn't that the way it's supposed to be?

So after adding 2 gallons of 110 to the Mini, I took my demented (I'm feeling kind today) brother-in-law for a ride. Scared the dung out'a him, felt good about it, then headed back home.

Total time... less than 15 minutes.

Went to a friends house and meet up with fellow former Rogue Motoring members and had a great BBQ and a good time BS-ing about the Dragon.

I'm sure there's a story there, but I won't ask. Is it time for the Dragon yet?

Funny, we were talking about the Dragon tonight while we each took turns washing our MINIS and looking at vacation rentals in Robbinsville!!!! Hoping to get another pre-Dragon excursion in the Tennessee area on the way in, that was way fun. Its only 32 weeks, right???
