I did a rally cross this weekend with my countryman all 4- what a blast. Times were fair for a novice driver- if an experienced driver was in the seat I know the car would have done better. Highly recommend the Detroit Tuned skid plate though- it got a workout
Hey Jeff, love those racks. I may buy a couple of sets so I can hang the wheels & tires in the family room. Babs will love it! :ihih:
LOL. I believe that someone near and dear to our MA hearts used DOT-Rs as his daily driver tires for a while, but I just put 'em on for a couple of days to make sure that things are good with the wheels/tires/balance/mounting before I head off to the track in a few weeks. I bought the wheels and tires second-hand from different members of my local club... I wanted a few hours of drive time to make sure that everything plays nice before I arrive at the track. I drove through a bit of muddy run-off from a construction site on Monday and had a fun moment of 4-wheel drifting when I started the next turn. If I can get home at a decent hour tonight, I plan to swap back to my street tires.
Let the wind knock over a plastic city trash receptacle into the rear quarter panel of my MINI. Now I have two glorious 3" dents....... Hellooooooo Dent Doctor, Dent Wizzard, Dent Guy or whatever.... No, they won't rub out.....
Sorry to hear that MM. I am certain you are not a happy camper. It really makes me mad when I get the the Grocery Store and find three of four baskets just sitting there, ready to roll into someones car. People can't walk thirty feet to put hem away properly. So I collect them and take them back. :mad2: Jim
If it makes you feel better I got another deep/sharp dent on the driver's side rear quarter panel. Down to metal. Gotta get that fixed and touch up the scratch. :mad2:
Chuck, sorry to hear that....let me know who you find to remove the dents, someone put a small one in the rear door of my wife's Countryman :mad5:
