not today exactly... but yesterday I stopped off to see the lads at Helix and some minor maintenance taken care of and as part of that made an upgrade in the process. Oil pan gasket (was hoping for the crank speed senor gasket but anywho... resulted in a fresh mid cycle oil change), trans motor mount replaced with a VibraTechnic street version, and then the rear sway bar bushings were replaced to quiet the clunks down some.

The Check-less-mate is good to go. Unfortunately, we are heading straight into winter.

Nasty looking Spider, harmless yes?

On topic, took Scooter my 07 to Cars and Coffee Lafayette, CO this morning, it was a wonderful day filled with some nice examples. I took this picture as I was wrapping up.

Not often do you see two almost identical TRANS AMs side by side, we had 3 good examples today.

    Full public album, Enjoy!

I was going to wash it, but it's cold outside. I drove to the grocery store and picked up a case of Sam Adams Oktoberfest instead. I've been browsing front lower control arm bushing replacment options today. It seems powerflex is the best option.

Today I took my MINI for a ride deep into South Philly to go to the Italian Market. Oh my God the roads in the city are horrible. :incazzato:

We also stopped by Tony Luke's for a real Philly cheesesteak.

No they are bumpy as hell, super narrow, people park on the sidewalks, and in the middle of the street. I could barely get out of first gear because I had to stop at another stop sign as I was dogging pot holes and other crap.

Oh and don't forget the old trolley tracks that are not flush with the road and rip a low cars exhaust off.

Washed it, and as a reward drove it into 'town' for lunch.

Dessert was served when I got home.

Turned over 82,000 miles today. Took me a while to find when I turned over 81,000. It was at MOTD 2014.

An average of 200 miles a month. Yikes, time for an oil change!

Went on a dirt road ride through the sticks, with the Countryman owners of MINI5280.
It was a nice scenic drive, ending up at one of the close to town lakes for lunch.

Other than the Countrymen, and my Jeep, Kristan (the Artistic Reflection "Eyeshades" girl brought her R53, and we had a Clubman in the group too.

After the dog tired out, I went home and de-crapped some more of the garage, and went to run some errands... Not a bad way to spend a Saturday. :D

Who would have thought a Studebaker "Lark" would ever be in a car show?

Oh, I agree with you. A lot of the Studebakers were and are cool cars and trucks. The Avanti and the Hawks are my personal favorites, but the Lark? Not so much. My friends Dad had a new one when I was a kid and I even preferred my Dad's '47 Chevy over it. That was way before '47 Chevys were cool too.
