Thanks, Blu is pretty clean, but Skooby needs a bath. I found where the brine truck had just driven & managed to salt the lil brown MINI pretty badly.

Got mine back today! His face is shiney & scarless again!

And they did a full interior/exterior detail for me. Ahhhh...

As much as I was surprised at how the Focus handled I kinda felt like a zombie driving it. So glad to have my Mini back! :cornut:

My S spent the whole day at the dealer...new steering pump, new motor mounts, new oil pan gasket and a new thermostat. The car wash was free, of course...lol. The car runs like new...well, actually , now it IS almost new!

I finally got around to ordering my lower control arm bushings from Way Motor Works today. With two kids and Christmas lurking in the near future, I'll be d.i.y-ing this one. Now on to google and youtube to figure out how to change them.

    I bought a new one!

Woke up, got in the Jeep, went down to the MINI dealer for a valve cover gasket for the Rat-MINI.

Ended up coming home with a valve cover gasket attached to a 2015 R60!

So now I am Jeepless, but I dont have to pay to feed that thing at 12MPG + a quart of oil every 500-1000 miles.

I already named the Countryman, Porkchop is what I'm calling it. Even in the 3" of fresh snow we got today it takes it like a champ... Not bad for a chubby chaser. :)

I took a nice relaxing and fast drive pickup a OEM fuel filter for my MINI.

When I got home I painted few parts from my interior that had been scratch for a while.

Wow MCS02 I havent seen one of those in a LONG time! It looks like its in good shape though.

My buddy in highschool had an one just like it, but pink! Yeah we made fun of him a lot! He said it was faded red, but the paint in the door jambs and under the hood was exactly the same...

The D16A-1 engines in those will last forever! :)

Yea it in great shape the seats could use being recovered, but the dash and all are good. It has two quarter size rust spots one on each side. The paint was perfict till this summer then the clear coat on the roof started to get week.
It's the spare car around here but my younger son and I have a soft spot for it.

Best of all it was free! It had dropped a valve and trashed the engine. So my brother in law gave it to me.

Took the Classic out last night for a progressive dinner/poker run with the British car club. Interesting too see two classics, a Countryman and a new F56 in the caravan... A great time with equally great folks!

Left my clean MINI in the garage & took Skooby out on the salt covered roads to run a few errands. Guess I owe Babs a car warsh once the weather turns dry.
