I took the longest route possible from MINI5280 HQ to the brewery down the street... 3 hours, 3 counties, 17 MINIs, and no sign of a Jeep... Life is good!
Hey Jeff, pull your underwear out from the crack in your a$$. Look up the intersection mentioned and you'll find that it is out in the country without a house or heavy traffic anywhere near it. Sorry Buddy, news flash...I push my car when it is appropriate.
MY underwear is fine, TYVM....however, I wonder about that of the people you scared the crap out of during your lil escapade...your Mom should be VERY proud of you.:nonod:
Wait, what... It's broken again? Oh never mind, I see the date on the pic now. Last time mine broke, I had'ta haul it 120 miles myself.
Oh the pain he inflicted on the others around him. Bet that squirrel & ground hog will stay off that road now.
Couple of months ago, I texted a very similar picture to my boss with the caption “I’ll be a bit late todayâ€. He fully understood being as how he is into old Land Rovers :yesnod:
I supervised to tire swap of summers to winters on Gnat today. Thanks to Mark, Jeff and The Chucks for their help and guidance.
I'm pretty sure those rear wheel hub rings were jammed on with donut icing. They loved it where they where, but Mark & Chuck banged them into submission. Word of the day anti-seize, use it. Good seeing everyone this morning. Thanks Chuck I got all tuckered out watching all the work. Although I was inspired enough to replace my wonky headlight washer. Thanks Stefanie for the word wonky & thanks Steven along with eMINIparts.com for the unwonked new one.
Ok this may get long, so go get a cup of coffee or beer. (I may vent a little) I drove my Mini to Starbucks to meet my 16 year old daughter. She's been driving sense September. We had a nice cup of coffee and good conversation. Time to go home and my daughter pulls out first so I end up about 4 or so car links behind her. About 2 miles from our neighborhood My daughter changes lanes yes she used her blinker. I saw nothing wrong with what she did. After that I saw some cars changing lanes but really could not tell what was going on. I caught my daughter at a 4 way stop before the neighborhood and pulled in first. I look in the rearview mirror and se my daughter, a silver SUV and a PT cursor pull in also. thought thats odd! pulled into our cove and parked in the drive and my daughter parked on the street and the SUV behind her. So I stand there thinking my daughter knows this person. When she gets to me she tells me that the lady tried to get back in front of her and then followed her to the house. So I start down the drive to see what the problem is. As I do the Cops show up. I tell my daughter to come down. The police get out and the lady gets out. She is mad and tells me I should take my daughters cell phone away. I calmly say she was not on the phone. She said she cut me off, I say no I was behind you and saw she used her blinker before the lain change. She said well I had to hit my brake so hard my dog fell in the floor. One of the police officers stepped in and pulled her to the side. I'm glad I was about to tell her perhaps her dog should not be in the front seat with her. The other police officer tells us he has dealt with her before and she is trouble. Before my daughter can tell him what she did the PT Cursor pulls up and a man gets. He said my daughter did everything right and that lady got mad and almost hit them trying to run down my daughter. He was the one that called the police. They told the lady she acted inappropriately. Once she was gone he asked me if he could do anything els I said no and that I was just very pissed someone followed my daughter home. Of course my daughter was in tears but the police reassured her she was in the right. they were very kind to her. I have several friends on our towns force they are all good guys our city is lucky. This could have ended bad. Following one of mine home is over the line.
