Isnt it great when the cops are on your side... I have invited them to my house quite a bit this year, due to issues with some of the neighbors.
So...if this lady (er, woman) is trouble why don't the cops do something about her? If the truth be known, the woman with the dog was probably on the phone and didn't see your daughter changing lanes because she was distracted.
Yes I do not believe she was paying attention. I just can't believe how this woman acted. Its just that you must be careful about provocative moves.
Whoa...I'm sorry that happened to you and your daughter! I can only imagine how upset she was and how angry it made you. You don't bring your crazy down on a man's kids unless you potentially want to be on the receiving end of a smack down...
Following your kid home is way across the double yellow line! Sounds like you handled it like a true diplomat. That lady will likely get hers some day...
Wow, I applaud you on handling this confrontation well. You are right, lady was wrong to follow your daughter home and good the 3rd person came too as well as called the police. Could have ended poorly for all. Did the lady exit her car and enter your yard or drive? People are just to self centered and nuts today. We have enough crap going on around our towns and cities. Sad!
Stopped by a certain somebody's place to drop off tires for a friend, and in his typical generosity....... he pressure washed a single section, of one of my wheels for me... :mad2::mad5::mad2::mad5::incazzato::incazzato:
Took advantage of my garage and applied another coat of wax and Raggtop while R52 enjoys life as a temporary garage queen. Worked out a few blemishes.
Picked up GIR from the bodyshop, new bumper and front spoiler. Kept the old stuff for Man Cave decor.
I washed my MINI today since I was off and it was over 60 degrees today. I also washed my wife Lexus Rx 350 or as I call it my Winter snow car. I pulled the MINI in the garage, polished it and put on (2) layers of paint sealant and RainX'ed the window's.
10 years and I still have the original paint. Don't get me wrong it is very thin in a few areas because the dealership where I got it polished it with 1000 grit sandpaper and 70's gritty cutting compound on a wool pad but I have cleaned those areas the best I can get them. Funny story about picking up my MINI. We almost had the deal done and the GM / Used car guy asked if my trade-in (2003 Dark Metallic Blue Nissan Maxima) was ever hit or repainted I said "No, I know how to keep a car polished and clean and have a garage why?" He said because the paint looks better then the new cars on our showroom floor. The GM and the Sales guy and I walked around to check out my MINI and I saw the kid trying to polish my MINI and I told him to stop and just wash it by hand because he had no idea what you are doing. The sales guy said why he is very good. I said ok then you let him continue I will not buy the car and will leave now. Take a look at my car, the one I am trading in and look at what he is doing to that car. :incazzato::eek6::frown2: They told him to stop and just hand washed the car and bring it around front. FYI ~ My Maxima never went on the used car lot it went to the GM's wife.
Today, I drove the Porker to work... Clean! Now its covered in dust again. I did however come home to find a check in the mail from the dealer... Not the typical couple bucks they always seem to send after they pay off your trade in (That $9.00 came last week) this one is for $350.00! Wahoo! Who couldnt use that?
I think I found the cause of the creaking in the front end. Now it's time for some tacos, then reassembly and a test drive.
