I bet a cm all4 is a blast in the snow. I'd love to have one myself, it would still be fun to drive and as a bonus the kids could put their feet on or near the floor while riding in the back seat.
Yeah I went drifting it around the switchbacks on Lookout Mountain (uphill from Golden)... Small inputs of throttle right before the apex results in a nice tail out slide! At the house we got little to nothing sticking to the roads, but it will all turn to ice before work tomorrow. If I where you (or anybody else) I would do the right thing first time and have Jan (RMW) do all the tuning.
Painted my gas cap and took off my spoiler. Waiting for a stock s one.tomorrow might put on new h & r springs!
I am 5'11" and have plenty of room sitting in the back of the Porker with the front seats in their normal positions! Yeah my knees are in the indent in the back of the front seats, but its not like sitting sideways in the back of an R53, so kids wont have a problem in the back.
So you found out about the ALL4 being better than your Jeep, ours is better than any of the 3 Grands and the small Liberty we had around here for a bit. The Grand sits most of the time but today it went to Petsmart. :blush2: The 07 is sitting waiting for over 40 and dry roads. Our CM would have been out, but I just dusted and applied a nice buff of Hydro Max, no way was I going to subject RD to this cold crud. But probably on Monday in the slush. Nice cold night and it is still snowing. Hummmm. :incazzato:
RMW has definitely been top on my list. I just have to call him to figure that whole process out. Maybe get enough people interested in doing a tuning weekend and have him out to Colorado! Also looking at a stand alone ECU...
Finished changing the oil after a 10 hour drain. Took it out on an errand run. That engine sure loves cold weather. Love my MINI.
I've tried putting a tune party togeather here a few times with no luck. But he does remote tunes if you can get a dyno. And he is a distribter for the ViPEC,,,
Took the wife and dog out for a spin in her car today...about 400 miles roundtrip. Since it just had its Service 2 with new plugs and wires, we got just over 35 mpg and still have over 1/4 tank left.
How many guys would it take to get him out? I am hoping by mid to late summer to have a dyno in the shop... Have to justify the cost somehow!
That question is best to be answered my Jan himself. Where are you located? Oh and most years he is at the Dragon.
