For me it was all about the drive and the looseness of it all. No sponsors, no rep's, just a bunch of friendly folks going for a good hard drive then breaking bread.

Oh well, things change. Glad it went well.

Still basically the same, just from four VERY divergent starting locations (and routes). All the sponsors did was supply door prizes (mostly leftover swag from MTTS).

The mini looks great keith! Still debating if I am going to take the red stripes off my BRG mini.

How long have you been out in Hawaii?I miss it a lot these days! I lived in Waipahu for 3 years when I was still in the service. Always enjoyed spending time in my jeep out at Peacock Flat Trail and the North Shore surfing!

I have done NOTHING with my Mini. I haven't even got to see it the past 3 days! Got to Panama yesterday and saw two Minis drive by the hotel. Man I miss my Mini I wonder if it misses me?

The up side is when I get home it will be late at night, the roads will be empty! I'll take the long way home.

At least the dealer has a sense of humor

I took my JCW in today for a couple of days' worth of maintenance and warranty work. The loaner the dealer gave me was a Chili Red 2015 MINI Convertible - perfect for a day when the forecast high temperature was 2 degrees! (It was -1 when I picked up the car.)

Enjoy the toasty weather - driving is good for the soul and has great therapeutic value. The -16 (real temperature, wind chill in the -30s) we're having tonight is headed your way. :frown2:

Yeah it was really effin cold today and the winds did not help either. I took my car out for a short run to UPS today after I let it warm up for 30 min.

It's not that bad, we are headed for a balmy 17F tomorrow. It's my hair day too. Might call Uber for a ride and not beat on the MINI.

Why not give your car full detail... Use a propane burner to stay warm!

See why I dont work much out there in the winter?

Then the work begins... driving to Frisco, Texas from Houston to see what cold weather is really like! LOL!!

Respecting the laws of nature (RE: the above mentioned temperature decline) I topped the 4 round black tubes found on each corner of Bertie, right were he touches the ground, with a few PSI's of a special formula of O2, N and a few trace gases that is pressurized with my trusty Sears compressor. All should be right for proceeding into the outdoors.

Add some Amsoil Coolant Boost and it will warm up, i.e. heat from the heater in 1/2 the time. Coolant Boost is s surfactant that improves heat exchange between the engine block and the coolant.

Yeah that works but I hardly go out so its not big deal. I think it was 1 yup 1 degree today when I go up and I had to turn my garage heater on to melt the ice in my wash hose. My wash bucket is a solid block of ice because it so damn cold. Currently it's 14 with no wind chill included.

The worst part is I took my car out yesterday and it got covered with salt and crap and now I need to wash it but everything is frozen. Oh don't worry all my outdoor water pipes are turned off from inside the house last week and I drained and left them wide open. I don't need pipes bursting.

I am just going to leave my MINI it in the garage dirty until it warms up above 32 and attach my pressure wash to my hot water line. Who knows maybe I can make more snow this weekend for the kids on my street to play in.

Oh and no I will not wash frozen glass with hot water I know what will happen.

If you don't know try it. :frown2::ihih::incazzato:
