Just ran the Porker up to MINI of Loveland for a couple oil filters, (yes its time already) filled it up before I left, and over the 85 mile round trip I only dropped 2 candy corns of fuel! Last time I made that trip in the Jeep I burned off half of the 20 gallon tank! Now its time to fiddle with the new roof rack... Slight modification is needed, and its made of the thinnest aluminum I have ever seen used, but what do you expect for $80? It'll hold a few sleeping bags, air mattress's, and a case of beer.
We could wish for 92 octane and no corn. Back in the day, a local station up north was pumping 93 with corn, it made the 07 run smooth and clean on the tail pipe. It's gone... Damn! Scooter is on the trickle charger, I am to lazy to move the snowblower.
Hey Don, Hill Petroleum has Sonoco corn free 100 at the pumps... Haven't checked the price in a long time though, last I saw it they wanted over $5.00 a gallon.
Filled up with Sunoco 93 and a bottle of Techron. Took it through the touchless wash. Now parked and ready for snow. It is nutso driving around here now too. The NHL All-star game is a but ab few blocks away this weekend.
Cleaned mine as best as I could without using the hose...feel kinda guilty doing a full wash during this drought. However, my Mini is still cleaner than 99% of the cars I see on the road.
I though the drought was over. I guess I don't now nothin! Stefanie its a MINI a read it takes priority on water usage.
Installed my hobo iClever aux in bluetooth adapter. Music streaming sounds good. Still have to check call quality. Now, my R53 can't be considered a dinosaur anymore.
Nah, I'd not trade this awesome place I'm living for suburbia with a garage. Got my Gar2Go membership card the other day too.
I took my car out for a nice little run before we get a few days of snow this week. I also was told by a kid at the gas station that I should not clean my car in the winter time because the salt helps stop the snow from sticking to it. I said really and I laughed my a$$ off and drove away shaking my head.:lol::lol::lol::lol: Oh Dear God these young hipsters are going to ruin this country with stupidity.
We had a couple of good storms toward the beginning of winter, but overall it's dried out and we've had very little rain. I agree though...I bet it takes more water for me to shower myself than it does to wash my Mini! I think my neighbor washes her Jaguar every day...
Stayed home from work. Washed, Machine-Waxed with Pinnacle Signature Series II, Including wheels. Dressed exterior vinyl with MINI vinyl dressing. Actually I mixed it with Turtle wax vinyl restorer for extra effect. Machine-polished Windshield with glass polish followed by Rain-X. Except for the small rock pits which you can only see in slanting sunlight, from inside the improved clarity seems almost as though there is no windshield.
