I'm taking out my R50 today for a short run before the next snowy/crappy/frigid weather hits later today and into tomorrow. While I am out, I think I'll air up the tires as the car has not been driven for awhile. I'm sure the tires will have some flat areas that I will want to eliminate via today's run.

    Can Spring be far off?

Car wash to get some of the recent salt off (Handheld wand car wash, that is).
Whoosh, off goes the third stop light lens (also snapped in half). Dried it off and
got some crazy glue gel and it looks like that worked ok. If not, will probably get
    a Dorman replacement part.

I guess some parts just aren't meant to last 13 years or more.

Part of it is the pressure some of those spray it off car warshes use can strip paint off if held too close. Brittle plastic stands little chance of surviving.

Today at work, we all wore red to support heart health, and more importantly, to support a coworker who suffered a heart attack not long ago. They asked to use my Mini in the photo. ;)

    Look, the ground is damp!

I thought about calling into work sick, so I could get a jump on the Rat's heart transplant... But I need $$$ too much to do that. :(

Left it parked in the garage for the second week in a row to keep all that nasty salty substance off of it. Been tooling around in the Range Rover, averaging 10MPG...Ouch!
Seems to get even worse mileage when it's really cold outside.

This afternoon, while watching my daughter's county swim meet, I texted, then called Jan and ordered a Vipec I-series, OS Giken, and "Big Lift high duration especially for BVH" cam. I can tell the dragon is getting close because there is Easter candy for sale in the grocery store.
