On the way in to work today, I passed an F56 MCS (I believe the color is called Thunder Grey/black roof and stripes). Driver was staring at me (R53 MCS Black-eye purple - aka Purple Haze) so I waved at him and he waved back. I decided maybe there's hope for the owners of current generation MINI owners yet.
I'm sitting in the Porker playing some Lindsey Sterling off my phone as loud as it can go, for my whole lunch break.
Aired up the Cooper's tires [I about froze to death], gassed up the car for its big trip to Columbus on Friday, and took a short spin to make sure all was in working condition. Sure wish the Cooper had snows and not all seasons, but it ran ok. We'll see on Friday.:fingerscrossed:
Yesterday I did not drive my MINI but I picked up a $170.00 ticket for not completely stoping at a stop sign. :mad2: (stupid me) I was driving the wife's SUV and it was completely my fault because it stopped and made a right hand turn but I did not come to a full stop. Anyhow the garbage disposal that I was going to Lowes for ending up costing me $309.00 and not the $139.00 I was planning to spend. Anyhow the MINI is still in the garage nice and clean with no snow on it.
I already know, but I won't totally spoil it. Hint: We need to chip in and buy him that snow plow thingy you showed in your other thread.
Took my S and the dog for a walk....omg...all the parks had not been plowed....fun, fun, FUN! Thank God for Blizzaks!
That should teach you to drive your MINI more. If you were driving your MINI you would have come to full stop and got back up to speed before that SUV even slowed down enough to look like a full stop. :frown2: Sunny and warm here in the Vancouver BC area. The motoring season has begun. :biggrin5:
Tired to start it to move out of the way of a snow plow. It's below 20F so no go. Oh well... I thought I was parking it in a place out of the way too. Thinking is over-rated at times.
HAHAHA ^ I would have been hit with more fines because he also clocked me doing 53 in a 25 but he let me slide on that. I would have easily been at 80 + on the straight country road. The Speed limit on that road is super low because it has a school on it at the other end. I was at a T intersection making a right were until 2 months ago never had a stop sign. They only added it for school busses. I was no where near the school and it was a Saturday.
I picked the kids up from the sitter's today after work. There's something gratifying about hearing your not quite 2 year old proclaim a perfectly timed "weeee!" from the tiny back seat.
