I went outside, noticed the cherry blossums are out and went out for a drive. Put on over 400kms motoring last week. :biggrin5: also had a front wheel bearing replaced. MINI stealership loaned me a stretched MINI. I like driving my car much better.
Try having no garage... or driveway. It'll finally be warm enough to do my rear shocks and rear sway bar at curbside this weekend, but will be too wet with all the melting snow in the gutter. Maybe next week, or the one after, or the one after. . .
Sheet or plastic tarp will keep you dry and I nice size sheet of cardboard will help keep you warm. Buck up it's only water. :lol::lol::lol:
If I get a whole cardboard box and a couple blankets, I won't need to keep the house. More money for the MINI!
I attempted to run new 12ga speaker wire into the doors. Attempt failed. Gave up and just joined the tweeter/mid wiring pairs as one, and joined at the amp connection in the trunk. Essentially doubling the wire ga. Not ideal, but will work. Oh mini. You tricky little bastard. Your right wiring in the doors is the same colours as left. You switch it back at the amp. Sneaky, sneaky.
Ok, so the guy from Canada has cherry blossoms out and here in Ohio we are still staring at snow and it is barely 20 degrees out. What's up with that?
Went out to the garage and looked at the black one, that's it just looked at it. It's not going anywhere til the 9" of snow is gone. God I hate winter.
Took mine on a parts run to get the rusty old truck back on the road again. All that torque combined with antiquated suspension and drum brakes all around makes for a fun ride. My mini will be getting a bath later today whether it wants one or not. It's supposed to be sunny and warm all weekend.
Got in the Porker on 3 occasions today, and drove it to the wash bay... Every time, there was such a line that I just turned around and went home. Looks like I might have to redact my post in another thread.
I think if that wire is from the door, it may be for the little light that is on the bottom of the door panel. The light faces down to the ground and you never see it until you open the door and it shines on the ground. I replaced those lights with brighter LEDS. :ihih:
While most of you shoveled snow, or just stewed over the never ending cold weather, we went shopping at Lowes... Let the Spring planting begin!
It's not! The puddle light goes off too the right in the picture. There's just 4 small ga wires. I can not find them on the car side of the door harness! Weird. I want to run some led's in the door panel. I might just sacrifice the puddle light, and use that wire.
