I not only started my MINI today I also took it out for a fun ride to FedEx to return my dead work laptop.

Man I missed driving my MINI this Winter. Now if it would just warm up it would be nice to put on my Summer tires for some grip.

I filled up my Classic with some 112/91 blend and took it out for a little freeway burn this afternoon.

Black overlays on his door handles, plastidip on the belt line, vinyl on the headlight rings, and paint on the gas cap door.... if I'm not mistaken.

Sticking at home today, Friday washed the 07 to get the road crud off of it, roads are finally dry, but still getting a little snow melt.

Was not planned, went over to the range for some quik plinking with the Beretta, but it appears Fridays is not a good day without waiting an additional hour to get a lane.

Wish those folks would not take Fridays off, so us retired MINI owners can get decent walk-out range time. :(

Guess the Countryman is next, perhaps later today.

Yes...mosquitoes. Spring is about a month early here in the Vancouver BC area. The bugs are out early too, unfortunately.

Took the winter tires off today and put the summer tires on. Amazing how much faster around the corners low profile higher summer tires are. :biggrin5:

Went down to the shop and brought my MINI out of hibernation.... Sure felt swell driving it home.... Instead of cones I was zigging around "chuck holes" all the way home wearing a big smile...:D

Took a nice 190 mile spin in my un-MINI with a friend in his un-MINI. Really enjoyed the fine roads with no traffic. Well until they woke up & started clogging the roads.

Just finished putting on Koni Sport rear shocks and a 19mm H-sport rear bar.
Took about 4 hours in windy 40's weather done at curbside. No stuck or
broken bolts in the process (Yeah!!).
Yearly inspection is due this month and scheduled for next Monday (in 8 days),
and I'm gonna have them put in the front Konis struts along with the inspection then.
One of my rear end-links is binding at the upper joint, so I'm going to get some
Detroit Tuned or WMW ones (I think they're the same) and swap them in soon when
    I change to Summer tires.

Summer tires are on, Removed and cleaned all ground points for the motor and the battery connections.
In the upcoming few weeks I will be going over to my friends shop and changing the oil & filter & Trans fluid. Then I will have it go in for it's Pre Dragon alignment and brake flush and ABS bleed.

I will still have a fuel filter and fuel pump to replace plus swap out my Milltek for my MOTD exhaust.

Put the fancy tails on, after totally screwing up the originals. They look nice. Except for the single filament bulb used for reverse! What the heck.

It was interesting. After installing, I hit the signal. It flashed fast for a few seconds, then slowed down to normal rate.
I guess the bcm figured it out.
