That is a bummer. At least you saw it early, because on mine, it would have been months before I noticed. Jim
MOST of it is on the black trim.... so there was no missing it. I'll be spending several hours working on that when I get home from work today :mad5:
If your trim has been treated with black wow or some other plastic treatment it may come off easy. IF you can't get it off, those parts are not too hard to replace. For paint spatter on your MINIs paint try claybar. Good luck :fingerscrossed:
THANK GOD I had just put a light coat of wax on the car and reapplied Black Wow not 2 days ago....... I got it all off except for the paint in the tire treads. It just kinda looks like I ran through some mud. And I'm lucky I have my "not so great" winter set of wheels and tires on now as well. I'd still like to hit up that side of the car with some cleaner wax or maybe claybar it.
Found someone that was selling their MINI and was willing to part out the exhaust. So I jumped on a good deal and got the ALTA stealth exhaust (catback only) put on today. The muffler shop I went to stupidly cut the factory exhaust from beginning of the cat. Instead of having it put back on I decided to just have it off. I'm liking the sound and car def feels better than stock. :ihih: Cross Coilovers were also being sold but not sure if it would be a good buy, Im sure there are better ones out there.
My office is almost half way to the track, so I hitched up the trailer and brought it with me to work this morning... will save me a few hours of slogging through Dallas traffic this evening.
More like what I didn't do today. You would think replacing rear lamps shouid be easy, No. Maybe just me today.
Drove to work again this morning only it was covered in frost, then took a nice drive at lunchtime in the 55 degree sun
Hey Chuck those rotors have worm holes in them. I like my slotted rotors a lot. Not sure what the holes do for you, but they do look very cool. I discovered my MINI's e-brake is giving up the ghost. I think the cables are fubar. Need to fix that before hand brake turn season starts.
Well...... I had every intention of washing both of my vehicles in preparation for the dent party tomorrow. Was locking up the shop ready to leave when a customer stopped by unexpectedly.....:incazzato: I didn't close up the shop until two hours later.... neither cars got washed.....
