I just replaced the battery in my cabrio about a month ago. If you want an oem type replacement that is reasonably priced, the Everstart MAXX H5 (Walmart) is a perfect fit, costs under $100, and has a longer warranty than most others I found at the auto store chains.

The local dealer wanted like $250 for a MINI brand replacement....uh, no.:frown2:

Took my MINI out for a run today to the dentist to have a filling replaced and came home.

Not much excitement since it was 5 PM and all the idiots were on the road. :mad2:

Friend called at lunch time and said why aren't you in class. I said class is tomorrow. He said no the second half starts in ten minutes we were wondering where you are. OPPS. Its a 40 to 45 minute drive to work. I showered shaved and got to work in 45 minutes flat.

Today I took my Mini on a high speed run. :D

What's the benefit to Hagerty's for such a new car?

The benefit of using Hagarty is that their market is geared toward the car enthusiast , not the general public. The main difference is you can't use the car as a daily driver--only pleasure driving and car events. It is reflected in the rate...tremendously.

My car is a 2005 and when I first called, I was told my car was too new. They agreed to insure my car because of the low miles (it took a while). The bad part is that I am the only driver...my poor wife :Thumbsup:

I walked past mine too Nathan, only three times though, as I unloaded my wife's car after returning from a four day trip to the coast.

Somewhere in a few pages back I said I would post my link to Saturday's C&C.

    HERE!

Took the MINI down to Home Depot this AM, to get some bits to fix the siding due to the damn, damn Colorado Flickers (Winged Rats)...

This is where mine is mounted. The wiring harness is just behind the door, which is immediately behind the changer... Look at my garage for additional photos of it. Hope this will help.

    People still use CD changers?

Best place to install those is next to your Betamax player.

Unfortunately a CD player is all that is in the Rat... Dont think I even have any CDs left though, not that it matters because you can not hear anything coming from the two speakers when the engine is running! :)

That CD player is one of the only ways I can listen to the tunes that've been recorded by some of my band buddies... It is on its way out the door though.
