I hope you got one that matches the year of the car. Earlier changers won't work in the 05 and 06 cars. I know I tried. Bring it to the Dragon and we can try to install it there. The install is simple. If it doesn't work you can sell it in Way's tent like I did.
Rip those CDs into MP3 and put them on a iPod. I do it all the time with "Unofficial" recordings. The only pain is typing in the album, group or song titles.
Not my Mini but today I start on a friends mini. Power flex control arm bushings, clutch (Valeo), 15% pulley(new tensioner and idler pulley), K&M filter, and some other odds and ends. If I had Paul here I would be done by lunch time. I'm not so fast. Thanks Detroit Tuned and eMINIparts.
Installed Black and Grey Checkered... Followed up tinting my windows by installing black and grey checkered side view mirror caps.
I like how the checkers are subtle and don't pop out like the usual black and white. Speaking of popping out, what's the ghost/apparition looking thing next to the ladder?:eek6:
Concrete "Joseph" from my lawn nativity. A heavy proposition to drag out the Holy Family and manger animals every Christmas. Wish I had the funds for a garage dedicated to just my cars. Instead, I have bikes, longboard skateboards, ladders, lumber, sports equipment, etc. Anyway, thanks for the compliment.
Last night: after picking up a new something something for the whip... I stopped by Dave.0's for some guidance on the next steps. Long story short a hand grinder was required and I made the Mistress a little dirty with some ground steel sparks. Most of it was dusted off within seconds of the grinder being unplugged.
Nope, I covered the back half of my car closed the garage door and we just went to work. My car has enough wax to withstand some hot metal sparks.
Didn't do this today, but.... Drove from Columbus to Sleepy Hollow New York for Easter. Had a good time with family and although the drive was mostly in the rain, it wasn't too terrible. While in NY, made a run over to Fort Lee for reasons. Was following a friend for this trip, and I hit a MASSIVE pothole. Once we got to Fort Lee, I saw that my left front tire had a HUGE blister on the side from the impact. My tires were old anyway, but I'd been hoping to complete this trip and let another paycheck land before replacing them. Instead, I used Google, and found a small local shop that had been around since 1920 that had a set of tires for me. In less than an hour, and for a VERY reasonable price, I was back on the road with a new set of tires. So, if anyone here is ever stuck in NJ, and needs fast, friendly service, go and visit these guys. Robbins & Franke Tires and Auto Repair :: Tires Cliffside Park NJ :: Auto Repair Wheels
Put the car up on jack stands in anticipation of this weeks tire change-over and maintenance. Lots of stuff on the list to do.
Still no tire change for me. Why hurry, there is another solid week of rain. The winter tires cut right through it.
