What did you do with your MINI today?

Mild here this afternoon too, so I was way over dressed when I got to the barn. Lately you need two sets of cloths in the car.

Washed it......put in the side yard......put the car cover on. Going to use the wife's 09 MCS for a while. Hers only has 25k miles.....and has heated seats Hope mine doesn't get mad :lol:

 

Changed the cabin air filter after 27k miles.

 

I just drove to work, but I still have the magnetic numbers on the sides from the track weekend.

It rained all weekend, which made for some slick-as-ice corners, but it was a good time to practice car control and it shot what was left of my street tires. It's time for some new Kuhmo SPTs before the inspection is due later this month.

I didn't spin once during the entire weekend at the track and kept all 4 wheels on the pavement until I tried to leave the track. While trying to get the trailer out of the grass, I got both the MINI and the trailer stuck in the mud and had to have some help getting out. Thank goodness there were lots of tow vehicles around and I had that tow strap in the boot! The tow hook was still in from the track sessions, so it was a snap to pull out.

 

To quote Cartman, "Lame."

 

I managed to clip a curb and put a scrape on my wheel. :mad2::mad2:

This did not involve the MINI but is more because of the MINI.

I met and had dinner with 2 M/A members from Mid Cal MINI that were here in Columbus on business. Was a good evening of food, drink and great conversation.

 

Who were they Nathan?

 

I didn't ask if I could say they were here, so out of respect I'll let them post if they feel so inclined.
