Finished installing all the interior bits I bought from Aaron at Outmotoring. Rennline pedals, door pulls, fire extinguisher and his red steering wheel inserts.
Curious, how are you doing the mount on the extinquisher? Is it a solid bracket mount or custom by you?
Still cleaning up from MINIs Take North Carolina. I have been putting out fires since I got back. Hopefully I will get it cleaned up before this weekend. Heading up to see the grandkids and want to check out the son-in-laws new R53. The MINI family is up to four, I think after this MTNC, Mom might make it five here in the near future.
It's a solid mount to the seat. It's made by Rennline and is on their website www.rennline.com It's a very nice mount.
Herself brought it back from a 1,000 mi. road trip yesterday. Of course, the tank was dry, it was covered in bugs and road grime. So, filled it with 93, washed it and steelwooled the windscreen. Much happier now.
Recently finished up the install of a PRW crank pulley, all new gaskets on the timing chain cover, new OEM idler pulley, Gates belt tensioner, and a JCW CAI. Could not for the life of me get the Gates K060535 belt on. Pretty sure I've got a 15% pulley. I had two holes showing on the tensioner.
ordered a pair of rear swaybar bushings. Getting the greasable ones. Will these fit? or do I need to get the ones without the grease nipples?
I put those with nipples on my swap bar last year. Now I realize I need a grease gun with very flexible head to actually use these nipples.
I took my little roadster on a nice relaxing back road drive with my sweetie. Almost made it all the way home before we had to put the top up due to liquid sunshine . Life is good.... Babs potato cam pics....
That was my plan, but the red light at the Alum Crick dam started getting us pretty wet. Damn!
Took the MINI out today to run around a little bit in the morning. Came back had Lunch, picked up the wife and went a spent a few grand on new living room furniture. Now we have to wait 10 weeks because we had to have custom fabric. Ugh :mad2:
Had a small problem with my Forge overflow tank. Sent to in to be chromed and it split. They found a real thin spot in the seam that split. time to order a new one. http://www.motoringalliance.com/gallery/data/802/medium/0127.JPG
