We need a detailed build thread, Dave. Here is an example of a build thread. West Coast Fieros Forum: RBS in-limbo Okay...it's not a MINI, but a Fiero is the first car I bought with my own money after graduating from college. The thread is not about my car. My other car has collector plates and I intend/hope that my MINI eventually gets collector plate status also.

Took the R50 for a 40 mile spin this morning...first time it's been run in around a month. Wife's S has been getting all the drives while she was out of the country visiting relatives .
Motor aside, that is the cleanest shipping pallet I've ever seen an engine on! The thing my "donor motor" came on contained enough oil to do the first oil change with!
Ordered a tensioner, crank damper, idler pulley, and 535 belt for my car. Tomorrow I'm ordering a Helix or CravenSpeed 15% pulley too. Just depends on who can get it to me faster. Haha. Me and Dick are going hammer and tongs at it Saturday night.
Starting the detailing process to get the Helmet ready for the Dublin Show. Hoping that my sciatica calms down so that I can attend.
Took my S out into the rain today for a 20 mile spin to the dog park. Great walk with the pooch and the car loved the wet roads and a chance to see how the tires handled the ponding. All in all, a good day, a little wet, but a nice time out and about.
Both the MINIs out today in the rain, I was headed over to the doc which did not go as planned and the wifey was headed over to her Wednesday volunteer gig. After about 5 minutes of sun, it decided to be another ark building afternoon. At least it is not hot! On Thursday, going to take the MINI down to Schomp for oil and brake flush, get some bits changed for the MITM track day. Don
Yesterday, replaced thermostat, on my R50, with M7 thermostat and replaced OEM overflow tank with a Canton.
