They added the shield to my new line after I paid $755 to have the leaking lines replaced. No warranty even though its a proven design flaw. Do I sound upset....damn right and I've got MINI USA involved requesting a refund. We'll see what happens.

Turned over 98,000 miles today. However, I didn't catch it until it was too late take a picture.

Crashton, you can verify my miles tomorrow at breakfast. :donut1:

Don't know if the clip on the shield would work on your flexible oil line.

Cleaned those funny spider cotton balls from between the tire treads. What's up with that? How do they know to spin one there?

And if you pick it out it sticks on your cloths fingers and the cleaning rag!

I crossed over 55k miles in mine and added a Sunday full of epic wet-autox-hoonage bringing the autox # to 26.

Awesome Las Vegas Region autox. The moring runs were totally wet. We stuck to my street tires and got some of the fastest times on course with controlled 4-wheel drifting (Yay for the LSD option). It dried by the afternoon session and we swapped to a set of Hoosier A6's in the dry. So. Much. Fun. :cornut:

I like the fact you are driving. Not the fact your MINI sits for 4 daze. Get off the horse & drive cowboy.

Actually I haven't been on a horse either. We had a "horse related emergency" and have been doctoring round the clock. My drive today was to get more supplies. Have to take the good with the bad sometimes.

One of the horses where my daughter rides was hit by an errant hunters bullet last week. The horse died. Very sad
