^ this is one of the rare occasions I wish I lived closer to MoM (a.k.a.: The center of the MINI universe). Would be nice to see Russell - he's one of the best

It appears to be tolerable, not a DW tire or even one of the ultra summers, but I can live with it for an all-season.

You do not feel a wobble and it tracks well going into sweepers. I don't think I would track it. :)

Hope that helps, it might be a little better than the old DWS, but I liked them when I was running 225/50 DWS. :)

Today, I found a way to tilt the rear wing on the R60's for less than $5.00!

Raising the tip about 1/2" makes a noticeable difference in the way it looks!

Now waiting for it to cool off a bit so I can put a new coat of wax on the Porker before my 4:00 appointment gets here.

Replaced the OEM cooling fan, which no longer had a low speed, with a new Dorman one. Came back from that install to find a JCW shift knob waiting for me! Feels much nicer than the original knob and I am looking to driving around with it more this evening.

Gave "Stella," some attitude. ....H&R Sport Springs. 1.4-1.4. Had sport suspension, but this setup is much more compliant and smoother with the H&R's, and Stock B6 Bilstein dampers ... No more unstable hop while in a turn, going over bumps. :)

Last night---went with QCC's to see Pixels at a local drive-in. Strangers were posing in front of the cars for pictures. GOOD TIME !!!

Today, went and visited with Russ and the gang at MINIFINI and had a trailer hitch installed. And...I found a killer deal on a tear drop trailer---WOOHOO. Pic's soon.

I washed the JCW and went to Cars and Coffee, where a stunning Innocenti 950 drew 10 times more attention than the Ferrari F30 and Lamborghini Gallardo also in attendance.

Did the same thing. What an awful movie. But it did have its funny one liners here and there.

Just wish I could have stuck around for the second movie, which I actually wanted to see, Minions. I just knew there was no way I was going to stay awake for the whole thing.

Took the wife and dog to see some old friends about 200 miles away. We drove her MCS...a hot day with a ton of traffic, but we had a nice time. We left the house around 10 this morning and got back around 7:30 tonite. She says I should be tired, but I told her all my same day down to MOTD trips have toughened me up! :ihih:

I got rid of the faded nasty black plastic on the roof rack cross rails on the Porker.

    Should look better now...

Still deciding if I want to color match the rails themselves to the body color.

Well need new lock cylinders for the cross bars.

Went to dinner while letting the paint cure, and the flappy doors to cover the key holes stuck shut. Couldnt even open them with a hammer and screwdriver.

Good news is you can find MINI roof racks all day long for cheap on CraigsList... Then I have spare parts!

My lights were yellow, so I sanded them. Then I tried to clear coat them because I read ModFather cleared his, this is what happened.

So in 95degree weather I sanded them agin but did not clear them. I did black out the headlight rings

Modfather what did I do wrong?

You used a rattle can... It'll do that because of all the solvents and stuff they put in the cheap clear coats. You can always send them here to get done...

Ordered a "new" drivers side sun visor off fleaBay. When I flipped it up Saturday to remove the sunscreen the lid for the mirror fell off. Battery will probably be dead by the time I get home Friday.
