I have the same problem with my Forge tank... Good thing it will be coming off and going up for sale because the thing keeps blowing out factory caps.
Actually going to try out Colin's new tank. (Greene Performance) It fits my look I'm after even if I do have to drill a little plastic. I would never buy Canton's tank, just off of the principal that it is a direct copy of the original RMW tank. It would save a couple bucks, but I would rather support the real brains behind it.
You can, but Jan only makes them in batches of 20 I think. They are pretty much a reserve order unless you get lucky.
Warshed it again for the second time this week. Hopefully, it will stay clean for longer than 10 hours this time. Also, I must say, I am totally digging this whole "having a garage" thing.
Two Times in a week. I believe Dave is rubbing off on you! Now where is my can of wax?:biggrin5: By the way your Mini looks great!
Drove the Mini (referred to as "CHRISTINE" by the wife down to too a beautiful park called Hubbard Valley in Medina, Ohio. had a couple of smokes. then on to Metro Parks in Strongsville, sat around had another smoke. Skin was turning red from the sun, (I'm nocturnal) so popped it into sport and headed home. It was uneventful after that
Thanks. But it's hardly 'his' fault. Have always been up to washing every car I've owned more than necessary. Realized that last night I need to restock my clay supply because the boot is in desperate need.
Gave the MINI a fresh earl change and filter today... Is it my imagination... The engine always seems smoother with new earl...
Took the Mini out of the storage building for the first time since starting treatments five weeks ago. As long as I keep the torque steer under control I can drive her for 20-30 miles at a time. Felt good to be behind the wheel after being stuck driving the Suburban back and forth to the hotel that the VA puts me up in. Only two weeks to go. The Mini needs a bath terribly, but it's gonna have to wait for a couple more weeks before I can get the detail guy out to the house.
Went to Lowe's, twice. Now all my outlets on the second floor are grounded. No more of those God forsaken 2 prong to 3 prong adapters anywhere.
