Thanks guys, things are really starting to look up.

Getting the Rat cleaned up for tomorrow's show... Not like I have a chance of pulling a trophy out of a 2000+ car field, but I also gave up on relationships too... So who knows!

Hang in there Dick. And as far as the VA goes... Don't worry about it cause ain't nuthin' gonna be all right. Or something along those lines. I tend to forget the finer details these days. Eventually they'll pull their head out and get you taken care of.
1 in 2000 chance of best in show... Hmmm. Long odds, but you never know. You've got my vote anyway, for what it's worth. :cornut: Remember man, it's the journey, not the destination. Kick back in your lawn chair with a good stogie and enjoy the show. I wish you luck and look forward to some pictures when it's over. :fingerscrossed:

Took the MINI and went in to get some work done at the shop this morning....
Did cad drawings until my head hurt....
Will be going back in tomorrow for some more of the same stuff...
With all of the day to day interruptions in a 5 day workweek, I needed the weekend to be able to concentrate.... Got a lot done...

On a side note, I received a nice invitation for a meal at the last restaurant job.... They will be doing a trial run with the new employees and will be treating everyone that participated in the build to a meal... Should be fun... I'll take some pixsures of the event....:D

Wow Chuck you make me feel guilty. Since the day was so grand I took my sweetie out for a tour of back roads in our little roadster. Nice lunch & then more driving, just got home now time for a nap. :)

Rolled into Philly with a certain former "member" to play a game of "Escape the Office" as a final bachelor party thing for Helix's main wrench, Marzo. Had 60 minutes to escape... got out in 59 minutes. Then headed out to lunch at Fette Sau. After that... GotTFO of that $#!+hole of a city.

Can't even see the sun in Denver right now, the smoke out of California is getting ridiculous.

Everyone else is moving there from CA, I guess they figured "might as well bring the smoke too!"

It's literally so bad you can taste it! And I've got a date in +/- 1/2 an hour!

Should make for a great sunset on the roof of the pizza place though.

Oh, you are talking smoke from the fires out west, I thought perhaps a pot warehouse had gone up again. :) :)

No MINI in MO, I am having extreme withdrawal pains, guess I will live through the forum. :)

    :)

Otherwise a good visit, stay, farm work trip. Sister comes home on Sunday, now for rehab at home. I sure hope that goes better than the past couple at the rehab center.
