Pumped the gas outta the wreck. Packed up my RMW axles to return for rebuild of the tripods. Ordered another pair of H-Sport rear control arms, and replacement bushings for my existing arms. Working on orders for OEM parts and Schroth harness parts.
Did some grilling & wrenching after work today. Gotta say, forgot how much better things taste being cooked over charcoal versus propane.
Received my new JCW steering wheel via USPS and ordered a Dimple magnetic drain plug. And now, after all that hard work, I'm gonna watch "Fear the Walking Dead".
Added an Ian Cull auto up circuit and relocated the driving light switch next to the handbrake with the optional harness.
Took the Rat up to the top of Mount Evans with a few other MINIs, a cute redhead riding shotgun, and the rest of my friends! Had a blast doing it, even though the ECU started freaking out at about 13,600 feet!
Pilot episode. Taped while I was at the hotel/hospital last Sunday. Looks like a good time Dick. Great pictures!
Your cute redhead (and no dispute; she's cute) looks scared here. Don't know if it was from the drive or the driver though! :cornut:
Well, yesterday I took mine to my Mini dealer to get my license plates, one whole day before the temporary expired. Came in with less than a quarter tank and got a fill-up out of them. Also asked when they think there will be a fix for the JCW boot badge issue (coming off on the right edge due to a straight badge on a curved boot; just dumb) on the F56. No answer yet, naturally. Also figured out a fix for the 2 lower attachment points on my rear window shade (the design used a light adhesive that will continually pull away and get less and less sticky over time; fixed it with a little Velcro, which seems to do the trick).
Nothing for the past 12 days, MINIs in Colorado in the garage, at least the Countryman is getting driven by Pat. Working the farm in Missouri. On an up note, my guys at Schomp let me know my new 2016 Countryman is waiting to be put on a boat in Germany. Wonder how long until it reaches the West Coast distribution center. Don
Not scared there... She just woke up! Only time she got scared was when I got the back end way out of shape on the way home! Oh the scream she let out... It was priceless!
I only hastily took a photo in not-so-great lighting because I was anxious to hop in and drive. Plus I'm terrible about taking pictures.... This is all I've got for now - I'm on my phone so hopefully it doesn't end up posting upside down!
I only very hastily took the time to snap a pic since I was so anxious to get in and drive & the lighting is not ideal...but here it is! I'm on my phone so hopefully the photo doesn't post upside down...
