Fitted a Megan Racing exhaust to the Justa. Looks great, but the sound will take some getting used to (over stock sound). I already have a K&N air filter fitted, but I'm considering fitting a DDM intake.
Some might say there are better ways to make a cute redhead scream, but hey, to each his own! Who am I to judge? :drool:lol:
Gave it a quick wash before British Car Night so I could drive it through the pop up storm in order to get there. Good times.
crossed another mileage milestone. Thanks for coming along for the ride. Celebrated by going in and cleaning out the rear swaybar tie rod endlink bushings.
Today I was driving on the freeway when I spotted a cream colored MINI 'justa'. I pulled up beside and there was a little old lady hunched over the wheel driving 60 MPH, white hair and all. I honked and she looked over at me. The SMILE that came to her face was priceless...like a kid opening a favorite present. We waved. Made my day...
Just back from a drive to a great little hot dog place and one of the best coney dogs and fresh cut fries I can find.
Found this on a Need For Speed website. If there is a MINI there, I'm so going to get the next game coming out in November this year.
Washed and waxed. Replaced my scoop finally as one of the clips had broken off inside. Treated all the plastic fender arches to a coat of Renew Protect. We'll see how the non-plastic trim on the aero kit reacts to the Renew Protect.
Washed the MINI Scooter for C&C, a club brunch and the last Hurrah drive in Scooter. The Countryman is on the boat, so time for some Mountain time in Scooter before he goes to the next enthusiast. First up on my 16 CM, a NM rear sway. And take off those damn devil stripes that MINI loves so much.
Today I got the Rat-MINIs living quarters cleaner than it has been in YEARS! I can actually see the floor! And I added a new stable mate for it to play with while the doors are closed... This RX-7 might become a permanent fixture around here... Depending on how much the current owner wants to deal with it. Its not perfect by any means... It currently doesn't run, but we have narrowed it down to some simple possible fixes, and for being a 1989 car out of Seattle the body is pretty clean and mostly rust free! I know a guy who is going to fix all of that though.
