Currently has the Evora and a GP2. We've spent quite a few days driving MINIs together in the Smokies. Dating back to the JCW.
In this pic? Thats just me and the boys getting ready to go out for the night... (Meant as a joke, don't mean any offense) No, its just my paint table... The trash bags came un taped! It does look like a miniature klansman though! Like all the ghostly crap when I was painting the Rat, some weird stuff happens in the garage from time to time.
Spent the weekend trying to decide if I wanted to blow the money on a LEAP spoiler extension. Still undecided. Just hate to spend $50 on shipping. Of course it will save me more than that because it's already painted in OEM white. Still pondering.
Ive done NOTHING! Been in Tucson all week end. Drove up in to the mountains in a rental car, just made me miss the Mini more. I won't get back till Thursday midnight. So you guys enjoy your minis. Don't worry about me, Ill be fine. You guys make me sick! There is a Mini dealer maybe they will let me borrow one?
Buffed the Porker into a mirror yesterday, and tonight, I'm taking it to the top of a mountain to watch a sunset with a pretty redhead. It was clean.
Didn't get the Porker near as dirty as I thought! Had an amazing time last night too... Odd for a Monday!
This weekend: Did an oil change/fluid fill on my 06' R53. Feels like its running better...but I'm sure that's all psychological. Also removed the dash panel below the steering wheel to begin fitting the euro parcel shelf I have, but ran into a rats nest of aftermarket audio that had been randomly strapped all over the place. Decided to forego working on that until later this week. Next I worked on trying to organize the parts I have removed so far from the 04' JCW into their respective KEEP, SELL, SCRAP piles. Also started removing the Wilwood kit from the front of the 04' It doesn't look to be in the best shape, powdercoat is flaking from the calipers, and the rotors look well used. Nothing a little time and some $ wont fix I think, but will know more once its all off. UPDATE: Removed the iPhone FM modulator from my 06 which was the aforementioned rats nest, and got the parcel shelf installed. So much better. Also got the Wilwood kit removed from the 04. Was an unusually nice evening to work in the garage.
Spent the last couple days for future building of Redstein. Trying to figure out the best $$$ per HP for under $5k to hit my mark. RMW parts are a definite, but finding a place to give me a hand on the installs is.. another thing. Or where to even begin with parts...
