    Drove it to work again...

Can't wait for the day "Going to work" really means walking out the back door, and opening up the garage!

I got the R53 started this afternoon. Amazing what a Schumacher charger can do for you.

Drove it to the Credit Union today and signed a lot of papers. Went to PT and then just drove around for a while. I gotta say... so far, I Like It! Love the seats and the HK sound system. Already started ordering parts. Felt like an idiot when I stopped for gas today. They moved the darned filler to the other side!

Nice color combination.... With your want for some red, maybe just try going with the mirror caps first...

You have to REALLY want it. REALLY. WANT. IT.

More than, say, a nice 3 bedroom mountain cabin.

Thought about those red mirror caps first thing...... until I saw their price. The new chili red covors on my '07 were $150 shipped brand new (and I was lucky to find them) but of course they won't fit the Fxx. The JCW Pro caps are around two hundred a pair.Think I'm gonna go with some stripes to start with.14" stripe with 3/4" lines on either side. White on the bonnet and boot and grey on the roof.
After a couple more cosmetc changes I'll wait for the go-fast bits to be prototyped and put into production. Eric at Helix is testing a SCIC for the F56 and Kellen at Craven is working on the software for nGauges for the Fxx series and offers a nice looking CAI. There are a few go fast bits out there, but the ones that are are held dear by the supplier. I refuse to spend over a grand for an exhaust system.
